Freewheelers is such an eclectic brand , everything from early 1900’s workwear to tech wear ( ?? Not sure if the jacket qualifies as tech wear but  ) . Really impressive

Definitely my favourite shirt I own , I only own 4 shirts and 3 of the 4 are chambrays so my choice is limited but to me it really is the perfect shirt ( for me ) 

It's been well worn over the 6 or so years I've owned it and it's still rock solid

Looks like there is a bigger focus on the earlier models this season , they look really nice

Lots of folks have some nice military pieces so it would be great to see them

Not gonna force my opinion on anyone mate , if you( whoever ) deems the piece vintage then go ahead ....... but the first user to post some kappa snap bottoms should be forever shunned by the community

For some reason the japanese market eats this limited edition stuff up , take the recent s506xxee for instance , priced similarly to these and it was sold out instantly and I've seen a lot of big vintage collectors sporting it ..... why would you even bother when you have brands lime warehouse , freewheelers , conners and so on ?? Its obviously the Levi's name but that's all it is now .. a name 

The upside down arcs have been seen before , not sure if there is a reference in the 501xx book but there about  ( edit , the doc bet me to it )

For me it tells a story of the time in which it was made , all the metal and cotton restrictions in place for the war effort . 

I love the feeling I get when wearing a s501xx repro , to me it's the last time the 501xx was a piece of workwear ... suppose that the dude ranch era was the start of the transition into "fashion" but for me the the end was the introduction of the 47 model
