  1. Where did you get these?

Second that. Also, has anyone seen the Wings + Horns leather service boots? Too bad 720 is too scary of a number for me right now.

  2. "just as bad"?

no...that is actually the worst fit i have ever seen on superfuture.

i am glad to see his neck is doing better though.

Ringo has obviously seen a chiropractor about his neck issues.

    Always seek professional help.

But nothing can really fix the douche-y scarf thing.

  3. I FUCKING HATE!

    Aaarggggh!

I mean, I tried to be optimistic. But it is absolutely terrible. I would have gone and swiped some XS or Ss to sell on eBay, but this isn't anything like what Uncle Karl or Luella did.

This is what I get for hoping that Cavalli wouldn't spread zebra print over everything.

  4. maybe it's just me, but I can never ever get down with flip flops. even if hedi made some metallic jawns, i still wouldn't throw my toes out there...

Naw, totally know what you're talking about. I just can't figure out how to wear them without looking like some loser business admin/political science major who stayed up late night and overslept for class after doing too much coke.

  5. I'm going to take it to a tailor as well. Probably get the sleeves shortened slightly and the sides taken in a bit so it fits me like it fits the model in the revolve picture.

What do you mean when you say the armhole doesn't move quite right?

Well, it hits me great in the shoulders, but the armhole is a bit big and I don't fill it up quite perfectly. So when I move, the armhole kind of just yanks the rest of the coat with it. I don't know how to perfectly explain it, but I'm definitely taking this baby in on the sides as well. It's nice, but a more tailored silhouette will fit the look a lot better.

P.S. Here is a shitty photo of me in it. I slouch and I'm drunk. So those are my excuses.

  6. ^ Mine came in too. Didn't have time for any photos. The lining feels nice on the coat itself (cheap as it is), but it's a bit uncomfortable in the pockets, because it's so clingy. I actually like the sharp cut of the lapel, and the buttons and pockets look pretty nice in real life. I'm going to have a tailor take in the armhole a bit, because it doesn't move quite right. But it is one of those double-breasted coats that look good un-buttoned, as it opens up in a pretty interesting way.

All in all, for the price that I got it for, I'm pretty darned satisfied.

    Pictures later.

  7. I'm actually watching (well, I'm surfing SuFu and my roommates are watching) Most Haunted Live and they're investigating the Winchester Mystery House. That totally reminds me that if you want a great ghost story go for Henry James' The Turn of the Screw. Then have Deborah Kerr fuck with you mind in the movie version, The Innocents.

  8. I think I'm going to place an order for this coat tonight. Hopefully the wool isn't shit like people have said.

I actually put in my order for that. It's supposed to arrive either Saturday or Monday. I'll post pictures and discuss fit and quality for anyone who is interested. I'm still pretty broke, so this seemed like a reasonable price to pay for a reasonable coat. I doubt that it'll be crazy good, but at the price (and my discount for my first purchase with Revolve) I didn't really see any downside to at least trying it out.

  9. every one of these that have been for sale so far in small sizes have been womens so they have an hourglass shape. i like this one much better. wish it was smaller...

edit: at least i think they made two versions. every one marked "womens" has darts down the front...?

They have darts down the front, one on each side, from the bust down to the jacket's hem. And the front hem is a little higher than the back hem, giving it a look slightly akin to a riding jacket.
