Well, for everyone who asked me about the USMC boots from my last post in this thread, and for anyone interested in a pair, I guess it is best that I answer in a post (because in sufu 5.0 I cannot seem to locate any the pm's or the rep area where some of you asked questions).
The rough out boots are the WWII impressions USMC boondocker, size 10D. It was recommended to size 1/2 or 1 size down in these, but this did not work out for me. I am a perfect 10.5D (with thinnest insole I can find) in White's Semi Dress, Red Wing Iron Ranger, Wolverine 1000 mile, Alden 405. A whole size down was too far and the 10D is just too snug.
The boots are great, and really sturdy. The toe is absolutely no reinforced, has a narrow profile.

I have had two pointers, a white drill for work, and the denim one for fun. Both are Mediums and fit like it, also I didn't find either of them to shrink much, but i only cold soaked and hanged dry.
I have had these chore coats for awhile now, but unfortunately they are too small anymore.
Both are cotton duck, look identical up close but the 1st is worn and the 2nd is still raw/rigid.
I love this Osh kosh but the fit just doesn't work on my tall frame. I have never seen one with this wool flannel lining.

So my laptop died about two weeks ago, and I just got it back yesterday. The tech fella tried to recover my files but has not done so yet. He still has my hard drive so we will see what happens. All I had was the computer lab at school, and for some reason though I can sign, I cannot make posts. When I try to do so, there is no box to type anything in (if anyone can explain this to me please do), I don't know if my school blocks such things or what.
So, for now the only posts I have a few that I tool before my computer died, and a few from a friend. Oh, and a short clip testing out his cameras HD vid that we cannot figure out how to convert properly.
This is just a test shot for a possible scene in a movie. I hope I can embed it properly

Well I just heard back from White's Boots. I had sent in my foot tracing to get the correct size for me. I wear an 11.5 in Nike, an 11 C in Aldens, and it turns out I need a full size down 10 C in White's.
Erk was I guess right with his size choice...
I am a steady 10.5D RW, Alden, Wolverine 1000 miles, and 10.5D in White's Semi dress is just big enough to wear a thin insole, but I will say that the Semi Dress heel is quite broad. So that may allow for even more room.

Hurray for stripes and braces.
Yeah. Shame this place seems to be falling by the wayside. I feel like if their website site was better* or even up to date it could help them. They have a few new items that are not on it. Chore coat come to mind.
*oh I hate flash so much, it keeps me up nights. F you flash!
.
Completely agree. Maybe they don't care. How did you get a pair with a decent rise?
