  1. and so they are washed

    no repairs needed yet

    will post new measurements soon

    .

maybe i should see the new measurements before you send them this way

i don't want you to waste shipping to me and not fit... if they may have shrunk a bit

these pants are looking so nice

    .

  2. if u arent 6' ,how tall are u? or rather... were u

    .

my freshman year just under 6', maybe 5'9". I hit a growth spurt after high school and grew another couple inches. 10yrs later I am now 6'2".

  3. what are some good exercises if im looking to gain hops? I haven't squatted in months and I wanna be able to dunk in basketball by the time this school quarter is over

but seriously though, i imagine stuff like lunges, stairs, calf raises, etc would help

    Plyometrics, specifically box jumps
Also do power cleans. no joke. be explosive on them

    .

i don't even know if the original question was sincere, but i will take the bait

just my experience, but here it is. the first time that i dunked regulation rim with a fully pumped b-ball was my freshman year, and i wasn't 6ft tall yet. I had played f-ball since grade school but had yet to worked out my legs. I would say it was part natural ability, and I just jumped... all the time.

I jumped everything i could, always off of one foot. sophomore year football season i started working legs, squat, weighted lunge, calf raise and within a month i had lost inches to my vertical. i was getting very strong very quick, but was having a hard time dribbling to dunk. I was incredibly frustrated (because i didn't have a natural shot, i relied on my jumping for offense and more so defense) so i calmed down the leg workout and learned to jump off of two feet. blew my mind and everyone elses how high i could now jump. i never really gained back my former one footed jumping ability which limits what you can do on a break, but two feet was on.

    blah blah... sorry

so my advice is, go jump, work on your flexibility and learn some technique. i know that the exercises are all used effectively but they changed my jump

  4. do you think anyone would notice if i kept these and sent out my sammies instead?
i dont think anyone would. really.

    .

I would notice, cuz I believe that I am next in line for receiving them. I still have to make sure they will fit. I expected you to have more of a cuff than you do, so either you are taller than I thought or the pants are shorter

this is a candle maker from the Civil War era insane asylum, the Weston State Hospital. The Hospital has been a hot spot for you ghost hunters and fans of the paranormal. It has been on TV every Halloween for the past few years with live Ghost hunts which I think you could also follow online live.

This is Blakers Mill. I had planned on having my camera ready when it was time to take up the stones (similar to the round one in the last post) in October, but the Strongholds were late to arrive and the mill is now out of commission for the winter. I will try and remember to to do this in a few months when the pond thaws.

My home town is the birthplace of the confederate general Stonewall Jackson. The photos from the last post, and this post are of Jackson's Mill, the home of Stonewalls uncle Cummins Jackson, which became the young Stonewalls childhood home until being accepted to West Point. The mill property later became the first state 4-H camp in the nation. I won't give a history lesson on Stonewall Jackson, you can look him up if you like.

The gristmill is the last of the original buildings from the homestead

  7. Aren't those wolverine 1000 milers?

very similar, but that toe could not be accomplished with the 1000 mile toe box

semi dress with block heel? seriously tatted hand..so hungover I can barely type

my first impression as well until paying attention to vamp stitch and presence of a heel cap

I thought that they looked like boots made by E. Vogel, but can't find any style like that on their website. My best guess is Whites.

probably a likely guess, but i have not been able to find on their site, any of the footwear that i have seen elsewhere

    thanks for the replies

It was really cold so went inside to warm up. while there decided to make some rope. This is a smaller version of the enormous ropewalks from long ago. After attaching your sisal to the hook and loops, simply rotate the handle. Keep an eye on the bag weight and when it begins to rise you know the wind is tight enough to work the separating stick down the length and the rope is made behind it. Wish I would have been more mindful of photographing things
