i´ve been through this before

also the triple pleated blouse features buttons sewn on, the buttons look like the ones of the cheaper levi jackets like the 213 (has only one pocket), but also could be from Lee.

Hi there, the tag tells us that these werde made for the spring/summer season 2008 of LVC.
The zipper is irregular though. The denim of japenese production (kaihara), barely shrinks at all, and is able to achieve sick fades.

I guess you could also ask Dr.Heech at denimbro, if I´m not totally wrong he ones a pleated blouse...

I guess it would shrink more waist wise than length wise, since the denim is used in a horizontal way. The denim should not became much darker, since the weft is not dyed very deep, it could keep it´s beautiful light blue... but that´s just guessing.

But why don´t you just dry clean it? is there any bad side effect from it?

@jewellben: you can spot them (but not order them now)

lvc definitely bring back the 37s ( you can spot them already on the levi´s webshop) but unfortunately no imbroved style, still they come button fly is oddly short button fly, a problem that many lvc jeans suffer from, on from the 1915s...

Those were called rust and blue and came in 2003 as LVCs vault piece repro of the season. These are quite nice beacause of the shirt cloth pocket backs which
unfortunatelly never had been used for a rigid version of the s501xx. Cloth from old shirts had been used back in the late 40s due to war restrictions to save cotton, it was the time when also metal had been saved for war material, so the 501xx lost it´s cinch, rivets at the watch pocket and and crotch.

These are late 1990s repros and supposed to be a pair of 1873 waist overalls with patent rivets. .Not historicly correct, since the leather patch should be in the center of the back, right beneath the cinchback. Probably valencia street made - what number does the back of the waist button read? 555!? I love the denim, allthough predistressed. Wonder if this was denim was done be cone or is of japenese origin?

That´s a decent pair Paul T. Are these the ones you introduced back in 2011 on your loomstate block?

Today I got the 1880s, my W32 measure 80cm or 31 1/2" and L32 measure 32". They come waist tapered as the 201xx, so you can have a big bum
but also taper in leg downwards. Definitely the most difficult fit to combine an wear.

you are right cool hand, i have both the current 1915 and the current 1890, the 1915 in W30 measures around 31" and the 1890 in W30 are tts...

@cool_hand. i can tell when i have received my pair, which a found at the 50% levi´s sale, at least for w32 l32... also i had seen em in a shop an the looked like beeing true to size, such as the 1915s, 1890s come.

still think the 44s offer one of the best denim. congrats for that decent fade.

@paul T: is the 1920s LVC or original? i adore the vertical structure that overlays the hole jeans. incredible.

just another fine example how beautifully cone denim wears in, if you are patient.
this is 1955 501xx from around 5-10 years ago that is recently up sale at ebay(not my pair)

In 1946, there only was the 501xx, or maybe in that case a S501xx. But these look very downsized...
