  1. Hey, I´ve got the valencia street LVC repro of these and there are some differences...

Always a great indicator for original vintage jeans are the zippers, LVC zippers of the 555 valencia repros are plain, nothing is stamped into it, later LVC zippers are from scovill(which were used aswell as talon), but never LVC used Talon zippers, so your jeans are original 1960s as Paul T said. If you have a talon zipper, you have an original vintage jean.

Congratulations, hope you did not pay to much ;)

  2. Hey,

does anybody know where in Berlin, Germany or online to get the nice April77 Pea Coat called: "Domino"? Or does anyone around here sell his one?

    Thanks folks!

  3. as far as I can see these are original 1940s because the red tab shows no trademark "R" these R hadn´t been used untill the 1950s... I think the price is a bit high, but the condition seems great, unfortunately the leather patch is missing.

  4. Indeed Paul T, one-two times these europe 606s came across me at ebay.co.uk, but these weren´t exact the same as the US models, I guess they had been produced in the 1990s aswell as the european version of the 646s which were actually more bootcuts than flares...

  5. Okay folks this maybe doesn´t belong to this thread, but otherwise I don´t want to start a extra new one for my questions... Does anybody have experience with Dry Capital E Jeans, today I received from USA my lomg awaited "Skinny Stacked" made of lowweighted dry denim, guess 10-11oz, with an extreme leg inseam from about 39inch... does anyone now how the fade and how much they shrink when washed hot? many thanks :) I don´t want to alter the leg length cause the hems got chainstiches!

  6. first of all crackerhead, these are fantasic, I wish these would be part of the LVC europe collection :/ I´ve got some 606 from the year 2004 but just rinsed, these have higher waist than yours. actually costumized means that the owner did some alteration

on the jeans, in the case of yours, the yoke has been reduced... one thing, I would wear em much shorter, like the strokes and ramones did...

  7. thank you folks, these fit very loose on me, but I will get the same jeans three sizes down and cuffed legs and I´m realy lookin forward breakin in my new ones... btw, the vertical lines were customized by me, first I ironed them, then I used sandpaper for the sharp creases, but this is the only thing I customized on these...

  8. S501XX 1944 WWII Edtion, worn about 1 1/2 year, but NOT everyday, had 5 washes,

the last 6 weeks I wore em 5 days a week during my work on a horse ranch, faded like hell

in this short time, the wrinkels on the ankle appeared in that time aswell as the hole which

was from a nail accident... I think this work produces very nice and real vintage looking effects...

  9. I found a pair of Levi's orange tab's with a BLACK leather patch with white printing, and strange thin purple-ish denim. Are these real? And does anyone know when they're from?

these seem to be legit, Levi Europe produced these black leather tags in the 1980s, once I got a pair of them, these were 631 skinny jeans... a very ugly period of levis models i think ;)
