  1. Whats the slimmest LVC model available?

you could look for the 1966 606s Super Slims, these are the jeans worn by the Ramones, it´s the skinniest Levi´s jean produced in Big E times... and really rockin! :)

  2. the new 505 from summer and winter this is for exsample is made of 14,5 oz Kaihara Denim, this i japanese... so there are always differences... and man be glad, you have a 555 San Francisco Valencia Street jean!!! and maybe it is soft because it was tumble dryed after washing!?

  3. @ed-47, I wouldn´t be afraid that these W34 are getting too tight, maybe the are tight after the first wash but my experience is that LVC´s stretch back in waist after two or three days of wear so go for the W34, I´d go that far to say that these stretch to a W35-36 after few weeks...

one advice: after you´ve you soaked the jean, pull em on while they are still wet, close the button and pull em down to your hips as far as possible, finally knee down, so you get maximum stretch

  4. I dunno, all these old jeans had been produced in masses, there wasn´t any great work in producing it, no handembroidered silk and velvet jacket like in the 1800-1900s, so I guess there will be more in hidden closets, garage etc. pp. than we might think. And it´s only jeans, if somebodys is crazy enough to spend more than 1000 Dollars for jeans he should do it and wear em...

  5. Thanks everybody for the posts, really great stuff to see, as the menlo leather jacket or the 1897 pleated blouse...

btw. could someone get me a dry pair of these 646s these aren´t available to the european market :/

I really love that 505s, gonna get me a pair of this lvc´s season, it´s made of 14oz japanese denim... did you rinse the jean before start wearing or after the long period of time? I wonder because these doesn´t show much wear, but what the show ist really great!

  7. Today I had look at Buttenheim, it´s the Levis Icon store in Berlin, they´ve got the beautiful 1936 Type 1 jacket, the dry denim was quite thin 12,5 oz(that´s authentic) but wow this jacket is stunning, I must get it... and they had an overall for 500Euro, it looked very nice but was prewashed, hope the get in dry denim aswell! I would recommend to get the 1967 505, these are really heavy in style and denim :)

  9. This is not the first time these came across me, once I saw air pair of these on ebay, i guess these are legit, maybe an advertising jeans, that everybody can see, the shop, wich placed it, sells RED tabs...

  10. I have some of the booklets that came with some stuff from 1997-98. They aren't big ones like these but for each seperate item. I could post those if interested.

    YES PLEASE!:)

...actually these catalogs are 1/3 smaller in scale than shown here.

  11. Thanks for opening this new thread, maybe tomorrow I will do some pics... :)

...and lets make sure, that some LVC info-texts are shown aswell, these could be
