  1. Thank you for your interest in VARI.

This mail is to inform you about our new international shopping site.

    VARI international shopping site

    http://www.jp-stores.com/welt/shop/we60147/index.html

    JPstores portal

    http://www.jp-stores.com/

As this shopping portal features a translation service, we will be able to answer your questions even more precisely than before.

Because of various service costs the prices on our international website are 20% higher than those on our domestic site. However, as our regular customers you will get the domestic price if you make a purchase. Of course, you can also order from our Rakuten page, as before. In cooperation with JPstores we will be able to offer you an improved support, no matter from which site you are buying.

We would like to use this occasion to express our gratefulness to have you as our customer. We are looking forward to hearing from you soon.

    Best regards,

    Hirofumi Udono

    Store manager

  2. have take 5 chainstich your jeans man 80 hk dollars ( 11 us dollars) plus shipping to and from

Yes Edmond, we get it. You LOVE Take 5. Why would he order jeans from 2nd (a store that chain stitches) and then send them to Hong Kong for hemming?

Erbs - Here's what you do. After you order your jeans, you'll get the confirmation email instantly from Rakuten. Forward that to [email protected], and cut and paste this:

    チェーンステッチで31インチに裾上げしてから送ってくれますか?

it says "would you hem to 31 inch with chain stitch?"

Replace the number in there with whatever you want the inseam to be and you're good. Make sure they're reply says something about the hemming--which it most likely will.

    Hope that helps. Good luck!

  3. I just bought another pair of these to replace my original pair that I sold. I had initially sized down, then recently revolted against the Sufu sizing system. Now I bought true size and they are brilliant.

This post has no point other than to say I love these jeans. The anti-slub! Just beautiful denim and construction.

Also, anyone who's on the fence about these, I'd snag them now before they change the arcuate and tab....

  4. is there any way to someway cleans those dark stains that appear on one side of the wallet?

this is what im talking about:

this isnt mine but my wallet is barely about 2 weeks old and its starting to show this on one side

I'd start with that cleaner that Obenauf's makes, though I've never actually used it myself.

Also, I've noticed that wallets that have been well tanned and then oiled seem to stain considerably less, including my KC's, which at about a month old barely shows any sign of indigo.

  5. chponglasia, let me know how your S5000VX's work for you. I have a feeling you won't be disappointed with those.

After one day they are my favorite jeans I've ever owned. I'll be wearing them everday until the Sufu 660s come in.

  6. Because the waist is proportionally small, in order to get one that fits, the thighs end up being too large for me. Also, because of how inconsistent the sizing is, the legs on my size 33 felt like they were more than just one size up from the 32s I had. Additionally, the inseam on my 33s was 34, when every size chart I've ever seen says they're 33. If I could try on a bunch of different pairs I could probably find one that works, but since ordering from Japan is such a crap shoot, I think I'm done with Eternals, which is too bad because they really are beautiful.
