I've been wearing this pretty consistently for about 10 years.
My weight fluctuations through the years:

s0500's don't run any different than any other samurais..
My size 32 0500's that I haven't worn yet, measure just a hair over 32 inches in the wait when pulled tight.

Still - I've been obsessing about those jeans for a while. Great pick-up.
Can you PLEASE give us some fit pics and/or measurements? The size chart on the Steam Locomotive site makes it seem like they run absurdly small, so I've been nervous about getting them.
Thanks.

I just placed an order for some Buzz Rickson's x William Gibson WWII Black Denim from Hinoya. I have received my confirmation email from rakuten, just waiting to hear from Hinoya. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
I'm guessing it's not going to go through, but I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

This is from Take 5 (Gosh, I feel like Edmond)
Size 32
1.waist : 32 inch
2.front rise: 11 inch
3.back rise: 14 inch
4.upper thigh: 12 inch
5.leg opening: 8.5inch
They're basically an inch bigger in the waist, and a half inch bigger everywhere else, except the back rise which is smaller athen BiG's chart--probably a typo.
I would have liked to have gotten the length too, but they didn't send that.

I would love some measurements on these. Edmond? You score any?

Chponglasia,
do you know if it is only the jeans that Hinoya will not ship overseas? or are they entirely not shipping anything (including non-denim products) overseas anymore?
I'm not sure, sorry.
So we know Earth Market and Hinoya are off the list for jeans at least. Any others?

Tried to order some 1108s.....
Thank you for your order.
But we cannot send out our article for abroad.
Therefore the order from you cancels it.
Best regard,
Kumi

Nice. I saw a pair of Stormy Blue 421s at Mister Freedom and was really impressed with the denim - beautiful feel and color. And the 15th anniversary model looks especially enchanting...

Get a KC's straight from Japan. Very reasonable prices and high quality.

Free bump. Great price, great jeans. Someone buy these, get a new button from SDA and re-hem. Done.

Return them immediately please.

on denim-junkie.com there are some blogs of people wearing it, including our very own Beatle
Yeah, those look great. But I was kinda hoping for some progress from people here to see what they look like as they start developing over the first few months. Just curious.

Anyone have any wear on these to show??

Yes. They cited the Levi's lawsuit as the reason.
Just wondering if anyone had ordered anything else from them and received it. I'm jonesing for a pair of Oni's.

Anyone in The States get anything from Hinoya lately? They told me they couldn't send me a pair of Burgus Plus, but wondering about getting a pair of Oni's.

Thanks. Does anyone have the measurements of raw 811s?
Also, for some reason I always have trouble accessing the Take 5 web shop. What's the address?

Eternal also cooks the hell out of the one-wash 811. It might be better to soak your own.
Agreed. Plus, you could put something in the waistband to maintain desired size.
Edmond - Do you have the measurements for unwashed 811s? Thanks!
