Went to see Transformers and honestly my expectations were so low that I was pleasantly surprised. I don't understand why they put so much low brow humor in the movie though? God damn what the hell happened to the Michael Bay who directed The Rock?

Yo Drag me to hell was excellent entertainment. It was the loudest film I saw this year though. I know the scary crescendo noise was going to come and it still scared me.

Had a pretty good day. Got Popeye's for lunch and I swear that chicken was extra delicious. The drumstick was literally bursting with moisture and flavor. Then on the subway I was checking out the boobs on the goth chick sitting across from me and then she eyed me in a good way. I was 90% sure was she in high school though.

Although now that I think about it this was during school hours and she had a shoulder bag instead of a backpack so she prob wasn't in high school...?

Not really. I only checked the S rack but it was the mostly ugly spring outerwear. There was one nice cotton/suede black trench number but Rick clothing is not my steeze. What threw me was that instead of upstairs with the Victor+Rolf/Margiela/Westwood and other European designers it was downstairs with the mid-tier stuff.

Also there is a whole rack of DRKSHDW jeans at Century 21 marked down to like $65 from like $380. Never handled the stuff before but distressing and coating treatment certainly is very unique and interesting. Seems like it would be hot as balls though. Again not my style but interesting to see.

I would probably size up to an M but that is because I would want to layer something underneath come the fall. As of right now I can wear a T underneath or at most a thin button up. Part of this is also because the arms get very tight past the elbow and I know I do not have big arms. I did not break out the tape measure but the chart measurements seem very accurate to me, particularly for my custom body and sleeve length. Also keep in mind that due to the lining the varsity fits slimmer than a unlined casual jacket with the same measurements. Ex: my varsity fits slimmer than my NDG jacket which had similar shoulder and chest measurements.

I'm 5'8" and 138 pounds just in case ppl think I'm a vanity sizing fatty.

I'm psyched for Harry Potter and Inglorious Bastards. That's pretty much it. Imo this summer is pretty lackluster compared to the last with Iron Man and Dark Knight.

Got my jacket and just wanted to comment. First of all, I'm super happy with how great it looks. I got the red with red/white+yellow trim and was worried it might be weird/flashy but I think it works quite well. No camera on me so unfortunately no fit pics.

Also want to note that this is really a great light jacket. Wool/leather sounds heavy but this is thinner than a classic varsity so imho pretty wearable unless it's dead of summer.

Last note ppl in doubt on sizing might want to lean to the larger size. I'm a relatively standard small and the varsity S fits slimmer than most non-japanese brands. If you're looking for a more traditional fit like that RRL or something you can layer a sweater or thin hoodie under I would consider sizing up 1.

It's in the thread. All colors like black, navy, grey are wool/cashmere. The red is a more traditional melton wool. I believe all sleeve leather is lambskin. Body lining is cotton and sleeve lining is silk.

I assume the feel of the materials should be pretty awesome. I'll comment on the red melton early next week when I get my jacket. Anyone with the cashmere want to chime in?

Started getting back into playing a little poker lately and reading the twoplustwo forums for the first time in years.
