  1.

    UK/Europe webshop open

    http://www.supremenewyork.com/shop/

If anyone needs a free proxy, guessing you Australians, Canadians or Singaporeans etc give me a shout.

Also for those complaining about the Japan prices being more than the US, that's the export price you have to pay. Recommended retail price + VAT + country's import duty + shipping. It's just like buying Japanese labels such as Visvim in the US, it's just reversed.

  2. You can register an account with the webstore and tick yes to "Request for newsletter", without having to buy anything.

Also Japanese retail direct from the source + average Japanese proxy fee will always be cheaper than export pricing from official retailers and F.I.L.s outside Japan.

  3. I know they did on their older backpacks (pre 2010?) and some G-Line pieces, but not sure about the Lhamo, which what first came out S/S '11 ? I own clothing from most seasons and even when they transitioned from the old label V inside an octagon to what they have now, none of them have had VSVM as the label.

I could be wrong mind you !

  4. The inside labels should say "Visvim" no? instead of "VSVM", none of my Fall/Winter 11-12 or Fall/Winter 12-13 have "VSVM". However, spelling mistakes are the same on my Lhamo tags, which was purchased from F.I.L.

    Visvim 7-Hole '73-Folk - SOLD for $460

Payment: PayPal Gift, PayPal +5% or International Bank Transfer. If paying via PayPal I will only ship to a confirmed/registered PayPal address as stated in the payment information.

Shipping: Royal Mail International Signed For, which is the UK equivalent of EMS. It is fully trackable and requires a signature upon delivery. Also please note shipping for these boots are very expensive, approximately $50 a pair, therefore the actual price of the boots themselves are a lot less once shipping is taken into account. I am also happy to mark the value down so you can avoid import duty.

References: Please refer to my to my Free Uniqlo / UK Proxy thread in my signature, where I have successfully helped 100+ individuals with this free proxy service.

Serious buyers only, no time wasters, no holds, first come first served. Private message me solely to ask for my PayPal/Bank details and to provide me with your shipping address.

  6. Richmond Park is worth a visit to see the wild deer. Hyde Park is decent enough, sans wild deer, if you can't be bothered to go out that far...

With regards to food, you have a lot of choices, Borough Market is a good place to start that offers you a variety of different choices.

Burgers? Honest Burger or Patty and Bun are the best in town.

For some Michelin star experience there's Dabbous, Dinner by Heston, Viajante and The Ledbury.

If you're in Soho, Spuntinos, Pitt Cue and Burger and Lobster (they have numerous other branches) are all very good.

Steak? Flatiron, cheap and cheerful, want something a bit more upmarket Goodmans or Hawksmoor.

Chinatown, Gerard's corner for dim sum and Four seasons for 3 BBQ combination.

Shopping... Libertys, Dover Street Market, Hostem, Present etc. for denim Son of Stag or Rivet and Hide.

  7. I stand corrected... well I nearly had a full set then! On the subject of Visvim in the early days, what was the first piece of Visvim people purchased?

For me it was the Trekker backpack which I purchased back in 2004... seems crazy to think I've been into it for nearly a decade.

  8. The first one was FW '04-05, which is the one with a blank spine. G-line came as a "pamphlet" as the collection was so small it didn't justify a dissertation, nevertheless, the G-line one is sandwiched halfway through the stack.

  9. umami and five guys are mediocre and overpriced. there's way better you can get in la for around the same price.

never had shake shack but people i know tell me in-n-out's better. just gotta see for myself i guess.

I've had Shake Shack at Madison Square Park and In-N-Out in LA and Vegas, up until now I preferred In-N-Out, but after having Shake Shack in the UK... I think I now prefer Shake Shack. However, I will say the hot dogs they serve up aren't worth it at all.

Will try Five Guys when I'm next in London as queuing for one burger joint was enough for one weekend.
