  1. People,

I was just from Barneys and saw Prada denim that look like raw/dry denim.

Does anyone know anything about this? Do they really make raw denim?

Does anyone own a pair? Are they worth the money?

I tried them on and I swear, they fit extremely nice! (better than my APC and Dior)

However, the price was kinda way over the top!

I think you mean they fit differently than your APC or Dior.

  2. I don't know if there are STF levis in Canada. ;) And I have not seen the gap selvedge in gaps for a while now. Are you looking particularly for STF or the Gap selvedge or just inexpensive raw denim? If that is the case I would just troll the supermarket for a couple weeks and you are bound to find some pretty good deals.

  3. You're Levi's jeans!

Darling, you’re a down-to-earth kind of gal with a classic downtown kind of style. A little sexy and a little spunky (but always sophisticated), you should be showing off your curves in a ...

this thing is amazing!!! How did it know!?

  4. I say for ease of cuts and sewing straight cut/or slim straight would be the easiest. How do you enter this contest to wear sample jeans. I have a construction business and could wear jeans instead of my carhardtts if you want to see them get really worn ;).

ahh, you need photos, ok i'll send some.

  5. I have long arms 36/37 but I am also quite slim. The only dress shirts that have ever fit me well I have had to had made for me. Why do not more people offer tall sizes? I have never found a jeans jacket that fits my arms and torso.

My last big annoyance was Banana Republic. Online they have Talls in their dress shirts. But they do not carry them instore and you can only ship to the states from their online store.

Long arms are good for lots of things (throwing baseballs, tennis service, tag, etc...) why does the fashion industry have to be such a playa hater?

Who else has long arms and is mad? Want to rant with me about having long arms and always wearing t-shirts because you look like an asshole in long sleeve shirts with flood sleeves? And what is the deal with vintage western shirts? Those sleeves seem especially short!

ps. If you have a long torso you can also be mad.

  6. Ok here is my biggest complaint with type 3s, the friggin torso. I am a somewhat tall but I have a pretty long torse and type 3 almost look like some kind of sexy hooters belly jacket except not sexy because they are on me! I have a pretty sweet GwG vintage jacket from the 70s it looks like it is based of the lee 101j, it also has the same belly jacket dilema. I understand that they fit a bit short and are designed to end right at the top of you jeans but why is no vintage stuff made for tall guys? Western shirt are bad for this two, all my western shirts I have to roll up the sleeves.

Anyway to get back on topic don't size up.

  7. I have some euro Lee 101b without half selvedge. They are older then the ones with the half green pretend selvedge. probably 6-7 years old? I also have some newer euro lees with the half green selvedge. The denim is quite nice form my experiance it is a very nice LHT with a slight greencast to it. It faded very well and anyone who is familiar with LHT will know what I mean when I say they have gotten very "velvetty". I don't know a better way to describe it but they have this soft almost micro-velure feel to them.

As for the 101bs they are very traditional looking. A bit of that blueberry wranglers hue to them. But the cut on the 101b is so money they fit like real dreams similar to my 45 canes minus the fat ass.

  8. Wtf are you serious? This will damage not only your jeans, but your skin. The bleach will eat away at your skin....

I don't write "lol" but your post made me laugh and then your Avatar was really the icing on the cake. Your a real sweet heart, too funny.

  9. It is hard to get to place where you truly don't care but once you do none of this really matters. I would say I am close but even writing in or opening this thread proves that I still care somewhere inside despite my nonchalant demeanor.

  10. Has anyone ordered from this website and shipped to USA or Canada? I am trying to navigate it using my limited knowledge of Japanese and google translate with limited success. I am trying to find out what their shipping policies, I am going to try and just e-mail them and see what they say. That being said maybe someone on the forum has experience with Mita or knows Japanese well enough they could give me a quick answer as to if they ship to Canada or the USA?

Thanks in advance if anyone answers this for me.

  11. I've never owned a fake piece of clothing before, but I made a hasty mistake of buying a pair of apparently fake Evisu jeans (actually, please do a check for me with the images below). But shoot this pair ended up being a crazy buy (mislabeled on eBay, which I won for $1.25 and change) and it fits really well in terms of comfort and dimensions: 33x36 - and it's perfect in length. I guess I've gotten a little snobbish in what I wear and being that I'm going into the industry in France I don't want to be really called out, but is the pair that I purchased obviously fake?

The reason why I posted this is just that I'm curious about what you guys do with purchases that end up being fake and end up not being to return them. Do you give them away or actually wear them? Or are you at a point in your life that you just can't be seen wearing fake clothing?

If I were you I might be more worried about the giant diacock running from your asshole to ankles rather than the fact that they are fakes. Would not the "biz" think that is even stranger then be hung up on the issue of their fakeness?

To address your main question regardless of what country or business your working in wearing fake clothes is not cool, that being said I have seen some fake jeans (thai) that have obviously had a lot of work put into them and almost anyone who knows whats up would never mistake them for originals or lvc. So maybe they are ok?
