  1. Just to make the point a certainty, 5000VX are quite slim. Mine fits alot like the SD-103 I tried on in the thighs and calves.

i wanted to acquire a pair of samurai jeans, but everytime i dig for measurements on this forum and BIG i see a lot of disagreement.

for example, the measurements for 5000vx on BIG here:

    http://blueingreensoho.com/site/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=28&category_id=&manufacturer_id=10&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=28

you claim it to be quite skinny, but the leg opening measurement on these is huge in size 34. it's about 1 inch bigger than my evisu's lot 0001(supposedly vintage cut/regular) and even bigger than my LVC's 1944 who i kinda dislike because they have a huge leg opening(9.25inch)

from the measurements on the website, the cut that resembles more to my evisus lot 0001 is from the Samurai S0505XX which is supposedly their skinniest jean!!!

anyone care to help me out here?

  2. since i am on the verge of moving to a new home, i decided to start getting rid of a few things trapped deep down in my closet that i don't really wear anymore, so here they go:

prices do not include shipping cuz that really depends on the item you want, but i will try to get the cheapest price possible.all items are worn but in excellent condition.

shipping will be 15 bucks worldwide.

*****stussy tees in size large and freshjive tee in size medium(although it's tagged as a large, it is really more like a medium):

brown stussy and white freshjive 14 bucks, stussy tee on the right 18 bucks(customade):

this is the back of the brown stussy t-shirt in the first pic:

wale adeyemi all over print beanies(this dude based in england was famous for a second):

    each beanie 10 bucks

*****freshjive jacket(size large) from about 5 or 6 years ago with really nice details, shame that it is too big for me! the back is slightly longer and makes the effect that you see here:

    60 bucks

the detail on this is amazing, really low profile all-over print:

  3. [ahah, guess i missed the pool :).

but honestly, people give evisu a hard time cuz they really judge evisu by the current european versions sold on the evisu online store.

evisu japanese denim is way better looking than samurais, sugar cane, studio d'artisan etc. but since everyone on this forum seems to be into skinny jeans, i'm sure the trend will catch on when someone decides to buy a pair of japanese lot 2000 and post it on the forum. just look at the pair of evisu's that DEUS posted on the evolution of jeans thread... simply insane.

i understand people not liking the gull designs, but you can get no-gull versions at a japanese evisu store quite easily.

and evisu.com is a rape corporation, shitty jeans and way more expensive than japanese versions with muuuuuuuch better quality.

so, cultizm, ask 2000db to get you some japanese evisus so you can judge it for yourself. i am about to order another pair out of him

  4. seems like there are a lot of misconceptions about evisu here so i guess i am gonna break them all...

No0,no1,no2,no3 , refer top the denim quality, no0 the best and no3 the worst in that order(being the no3 non-selvedge denim)

lot 2001 is the baggy fit, based on the 55 levi fit repro, 2000 is a slim fit model but i dunno in which repro they are based. 2004 is 2001 with a cinch back.

lot 0001 is the regular european fit and 0331 is the european slim fit.

a easy way to tell apart european evisu from japanese evisu, is that the japanese evisus always have a red tag on the right backpocket like levi's has.

  5. lol, couldn't have said it better myself CMF.

i understand your hustle, but the people that you will be selling those jeans to are not people who really know what good evisu is like.

no one who has touched a pair of pre 2003 european evisu or japanese evisu will ever buy those. i guess european evisu has changed designers in the last 3/4 years, cuz all they have done ever since is put out shitty jeans(if they actually do a good pair of jeans in terms of quality sometimes, they do not hesitate to ruin them with some over the top ugly design and call it "limited edition")

  6. Wrapping up warm for work...

    111106.jpg

Traded my Shemagh for a Krama :P, Journey standard down jacket, AA tee, Silas, Dior 19cm Coal drills, Visvim Zahra, Visvim tote

that jacket is so dope...what brand is it and where did you get it?

it looks like the new supreme goose down jacket, is it that one? i seriously need one of those in my life

  7. i have been a close evisu follower and supporter for years, and in the last 2 years no pair of evisu jeans comes to my mind in which i had any doubts of it's authenticity.

now, i found a spanish seller, who sells the shitty evisu EU ED and EV genes line who are indeed authentic, holding a few pairs of these for sale:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Evisu-Mens-Deluxe-Boxed-Special-Jeans-Japan-32-NWT-SP_W0QQitemZ220034882790QQihZ012QQcategoryZ11483QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

the denim looks Incredible , the attention to detail in the box and papers is something that does not look like the work of a faker, but i am really surprised that i have never heard/read of these before.

they look like they have a lot 2001 cut, which would mean they are japanese made, but the inside tags are of the european division of evisu. these things don't seem to add up to me, but they sure look good to me

if they are indeed real, 17oz denim with clean backpockets look like a great pickup!

anyone with any info/opinions on these?
