  1. iBook G4. and no, i dont care to comment. and without your biting sarcasm, thank you for telling me that mac or pc theres no difference.

    shit.

well, at least my sarcasm is biting... so i got that goin' for me...

as far as pics go, i think i actually responded to your request in another thread. imageshack.com or photobucket.com should be a great help.

im not here to start any fires, just to learn.

props. props. you'll learn a lot if you stick around. but i gotta call 'em like i see 'em.

  2. its not a lie, or an exaggeration. i just goot a digital camera. anyone with a mac that knows how to post photos please tell me, and i will show you a picture of me in my 24/34 diesel livs

give me the $2350 and i'll enroll you in "snugglepony's internet-town basics 101" wherein you'll learn:

    a) what a webserver is.

    B) that it doesn't make a lick of difference if you're on a mac or a pc when it come to posting photos to the internet.

    c) that the new macbook pro ma and pa bought you could be doing so much more were it not resting upon the "lap" created by your twig-like frame...

ALSO! i'm going to just assume that ddml is right and that you formerly existed as sevendrugsareoverratedbadmkay. care to comment?

  3. history preservation only has larges, true. i'm still trying to figure out sizing on the buzz sweatshirts - not sure what size i should go with.

mil-mil.net has a weird in stock / out of stock system, and i can't tell if "x" or "o" means in stock... regardless, some colors seem to be in stock in multiple sizes...

  4. tees: $240

    polos: $440

    shirts l/s: $400

    dress shirts: $700

    suit: $8000

    jeans: $2600

    shorts: $320

    sneakers: $800

    jackets: $1800

    hoodies: $560

    belts: $120

    flipflops: $0

    facial care: $40

    straight doublin'...

    nice.

next time, though: hit up THE POWERS OF TEN...

  5. please dont flame me... im a preppy richboy

based on the shit i have

    jeans: $500 (dior homme)

    polos: $200 (Junya Watanabe)

hoodie: $30 (they should be cheap)

    tee: $600 (LV silk reversible)

    shoes: $500 (LV)

shorts: $140 (polo rl palmer madras)

    belt: $300 (LV)

    Flipflops: $40 (rainbow)

    suit: $600 (emporio)

    top ramen: $3 (beef flavored)

my advice: cut $200 from your jeans budget, $100 from polos, $550 from tees, $300 from shoes, all $140 from shorts, $200 from belts and take that extra $1490 and add it to your suit budget... jesus.

  6. please.

who pays full price for gap jeans? they have sales every fifteen minutes with shit marked down to $.08.

the 1969 selvage model they put out a few years ago was, from most reports, a quality jean at a great price.

i have a pair of grey broken-twill gap jeans that i've had for seven years and with a few minor repairs they're in great shape. much more durable than the two pairs of levis premium jeans i bought around the same time (they're long gone).

  7. about the two boys whose father returns?? if so i really meant to catch it when it came out, didn't, and promptly forgot what it was called.

if we are talking about the same film did you know that one of the young actors died at the same time as the films premier? i believe he drowned in an odd boating accident, and i think there was strange parallels with the actual film? tragic anyway.

jim - yes, that's the one. my heart just literally sank knowing that one of those boys died... they're both absolutely amazing in the film, calling up such incredibly honest emotion...

    fuck.

  8. last night i tried to add a pair of RRL low rise bootcuts to the on deck circle via ebay, but some jackhole bid them up to $76+ dollars.

    dick.

(yes, this would've broken my "no more denim" commitment. frankly, i'd break that promise for $30, but not for $80...)

  9. whew! i knew i wasn't the only one...

the only time i got called out on my jeans was a few months ago: i was in LA visiting a friend and we went to the hollywood trading co in fred segal in santa monica. i was looking to buy some APCs, and i was wearing my imperials... caught one of the clerks (must've been an SFer?) checking out my ass pockets and when i turned around, our conversation went something like this:

    clerk: "are those -- ?"

    'pony: "they are."

    clerk: "sweeeeet."

    'pony: "totally."

If i saw a girl in apc's i would definitely say something

through a friend, i met this girl who just started to work at the coffee place i hit up most days... the first time i saw her in there, she turned around to get my coffee and i saw some really nice honeycombs, obviously worn in by her. she was a little surprised, i think, when asked, "are those APCs? they're real nice..." <ding!>
