What do you know? Me too! I can't post another WDYW pic unless I wear shoes OTHER than dunks or refer to them in any way shape or form or I will surely be flamed to extremes.

Yes, this forum will have different opinions. But no, it isn't necessary to knock somebody for ANYTHING. I mean ANYTHING. If you don't like a hoody, shoes or somebody's style (Just look at how people treated KING right at first) what's the point in hating on them for it?

Thanks Mike...and Donjuan, your style is very on point by the way. We all, including myself, can be negative towards others sometimes but let's keep things as positive as possible.

Love the tie...I'm not confident enough to pull it off on a daily basis though...all of my ties are rediculous formal looking too...

I'd need an ultra tiring amount of self justification to wear it icon_smile_wink.gif

A strong SECOND to that comment. Thank you Minya.

Anyways, I have a pair of all white/gum soled sambas that I never wear...but when I have worn them I too have noticed a pretty high arch support. But being as I never wear them I'm in the same boat as you...they're not gonna break in. I definitely need to break em' out but with this rainy/dirt weather in OR I can't do it to the all white shoes!

  6. Wow, this is definitely a first. Mikey and I are NOT GAY. Haha...we got to school together, lived in the same dorm hall last year...and we both have girlfriends. Some of the ignorant assumptions on here are rediculous...although I laughed pretty hard when Mike told me that some kid on Superfuture thought we were gay.

I have absolutely no negativity towards gay people. One of my fraternity (oh god, the hate I might recieve for saying that) brothers is very gay and one of the coolest people I know.

At any rate, this is fashion and only fashion...people who are very secure with their sexuality. Something that, unless done so by the user, doesn't need to be brought up in here.

But for the record...here SHE is

I was at Project in NYC, and I heard something like that involving legal buisness...dont really know much, but I can find out..

It wouldn't surprise me if there were legal issues with Red Monkey's name. I know that many of you have probably heard of Red Monkey Designs here in America. Torry Pendergrass (Who's family resides in my hometown of Yamhill, Oregon...of Roughly 900 people) has been making really high quality leather for years now. His stuff is rediculously well crafted and apparently has been selling pretty hot.

But I wondered if there would be any issues regarding the name of his business (www.redmonkeydesigns.com for those who are curious) and Red Monkey Jeans.

Interesting. Personally...I'd like to see some stuff from RMC that doesn't have hideous pocket stitching...something a bit more classic...but I guess that's their style and that's how they do things.

  8. lol...you guys need to relax.......its really not that big of a deal...and that time i posted pics twice was because i chenged to go out at night...and the clothes i was wearing earlier were soaked form the rain.....lol

I still don't understand why you insist I purchase you something. Either way, this has gotten off topic enough. I'll continue to post the same pics of me sitting on my bed...it's the only place in my room where my camera works. And people weren't giving me shit until you piped up. The other guy just said I didn't need any self justification...

Anyways, let me help you out Obsessis:

But take into consideration the hate that is constantly coming out of everybody's mouth. I don't mind it...but you guys are constantly battering kids for copping dunks or wearing too much of one thing. It's never legit.

Haha, and I guess you'd have to understand where Kixslf and I are coming from with our spending habits...we piss our money away daily (thus the "ugh, another pair of dunks"), even one of the kids at American Apparel said to us at the cash register the other day "Jesus, I see you guys in here every day, you shop here a shitload" (where the American Apparel quote came from).

    Anyways, If I were you, I wouldn't worry about it...cause I'm not.

people'd prob. quit giving you shit if you stopped posting pictures of yourself everyday, sometimes twice, wearing basically the same outfit showcasing a different pair of dunks.

--- Original message by obsessis on Jan 19, 2006 10:06 AM

Please, show me where I posted a WDYW picture of myself more than once per day...

Last time I checked this thread was called "WHAT DID YOU WEAR TODAY

Thus, I post what I wore that day. Jesus...and please show me where Kixslf has had the same outfit on, with a different pair of dunks twice in one day.

You're talking out of your ass. And shop for you? What for?

get me a pair of those cheapo white green dunks in a size 10.0 and we'll call it a day. icon_smile_tongue.gif

Ha, the reason I keep getting these things for so cheap is cause our local skateshop has tons of shit in stock that he's had FOREVER...he finally just let us head into the back and see what we could find. Those were the last pair of the white/greens and I've always liked em'. So I picked up those for 40 and the Black/Fog high tops for 60...I was pleased to say the least.

Anyways, Witts your shit is awesome. That hoody is on point for sure and I love those slam cities! Welp, see ya later.

  13. Haha, The reason people are lining up for these Retro Jordan's is because only SOME...not ALL of the Colorway's are limited. Making them harder to come by. The Jordan's you guys see on the shelves are the one's with terrible, bland, or just completely wack colorways.

And dunks...well...you just gotta know where to find em'. icon_smile_wink.gif
