  1. I'm gonna HAVE TO SAY that this kid has a perfectly valid argument. I see, like somebody has already stated, an UNCANNY resemblence to these toys. Angles, stitch marks, etc. If the guy is going something that anybody can do...big deal. He just happened to be the first to so it, and has gotten lucky with it. I dunno...I'm rambling. Peace.

I saw this one on a Yahoo.jp auction and quite liked it. Anyone know anything about the label (Hare)?

This is one of the finest looking Pilot Coats I have ever seen. I absolutely LOVE how it looks buttoned to the top like that.

Anyways, if you're looking for something cheap...just google them. Lots of different military surplus websites sell them for roughly 70-200 bucks. Just a thought.

  3. I would SURELY rock a bottom grill if only it weren't for my enourmous bottom lip. No matter how much I might try to show off the grill, my lip never ceases to expose the lower teeth. No matter how big I smile. I suppose one might consider them "N****R Lips" as aweful as it may sound.

  4. Dammit Caarrrrlllll. I love that AE sweater but refuse to buy because of my experience with another. I shall find another elsewhere. And whether you know it or not I'll see you down in Eugene for Mikey's birthday.

I just bought a pair of Yoshi's. How do you like em'?

    A WDYWT post to come.

  5. Dude, who DOESN'T Piss and spit on their jeans. I do it all the time...but that's probably because I'm so damn HARD.

    JOKING.

Anyways, It seems like you'd have to do a whole lot of pissing at a club for it to cause your jeans to smell. Nut sweat. Now that's another story.

  6. I'm gonna have to admit that I purchased an LRG logo T at Zumiez. Regardless of where their stuff is being sold I'm still gonna buy the shit that looks nice.

Digital Gravel is FILLED with urbanwear. It's almost overpopulated with screened T's and Hoodies. And all of it seems to be so damn overpriced. It's good stuff, I'm not gonna lie, but I think somebody should start up an urbanwear company that's easily affordable to anybody who wants it. It's just so hard for a small company to do. Cost comes pretty damn close to net profit for many of these small companies.

  7. Just looked at these at Fred Meyer for 29.99. I was super tempted to pick up a pair for the hell of it. Pretty damn stiff stuff. Anyways, didn't have anything under a 30 and they were just way too big, saggy all over. Meh, maybe I can find a pair online. I also wouldn't mind seeing some pics of these after a wash or two.

  8. Yup, I got em' last week and really like em'. The fit is really nice but to my dissapointment they weren't selvedge. I should have payed more attentiont to the auction. Anyways, I like em' enough to get right back on eBay and pick up a pair of Edwin Yoshi SX's. I haven't recieved em' yet but I'll post pics of both when I get back into Eugene.

  9. I know that Any Kind of Industrial Latex Paint, just Like the Shit you can pick Up For cheap and in Smaller Quantities at your Local Sherwin Williams, will Not come out of Jeans. Like The Evisu paint it will slowly fade with wear and wash but It'll Stay for quite some time.

wtf, even first posters regged to tell you about that hoody.

RUN DOWN TO YOUR LOCAL DIOR HOMME BOUTIQUE AND SHELL OUT THE CASH FOR IT

    NOW

Don't hate on the newbs...you were one too at some point or another. SOMETHING must have triggered you to register.

Either way, that hoody's ILLLLL. Why would anybody want to go to Dior Homme and pay up the ass for it when it's perfectly logical to think that it might be possible to make one yourself. Fuck.

  11. I must reply here. Ever since friends starting getting me into this denim trend, I wondered why it was necessary to make these alterations (wearing your jeans and what not till they've been beaten and tattered to acheive a certain "look") and as I sit and watch tv I notice the whiskers and such in my cheap Hollister denim. I've got a pair pf jeans from H&M and two pairs of dark indigo Edwins but must admit that I still like these Hollisters. The whiskers are appealing and so are the small nicks that are in them (these are by no means distroyed denim, they've gotten WAY over the top with paint splatters and what not). These are nice looking and nice fitting (Trestle Vintage Straight leg, I paid roughly $30 for them after my employee discount).

I think to myself "This is a good pair of jeans, this is the sort of look my other jeans will take on if done right". So much effort goes in to making these dry denim jeans appealing that I ask myself. Is it worth it? Surely, one can buy denim, and as long as it fits, can make it THEIRS. They can wear them as passionately as we do and treat them like normal clothing, washing them every few weeks.

Either way, I'll continue following the dry denim trend. I'll do it because I enjoy it, it's fun, and ultimately I think thats why all of us do it. These jeans aren't just jeans...they're "projects". So wonder why we do it all you want. It's still just denim. Button them and go.

Peace, love and Happy Holidays to all.

WhoGotMeIntoThis (that's what I'm really wondering)

What the fuck, we laughed at his hilarious post, it was two useless comments... get over it.

I was asking why he needed to clarify who's post he was laughing at. Prick. This is an internet forum, you know I just can't sleep at night wondering what's going on with Superfuture. I just don't know if I'll be able to get over it! icon_smile_wink.gif
  13. ^ Oh...okay...but what the hell does that add to the subject?

I don't mind the look of those jeans at all. The cut isn't something I could get away with wearing but they look fine. Not to mention the price is probably right on em' too.
