And thanks Minya, makes things much easier.

Obviously you're not understanding what I'm asking Minya. I've got a tape measure right in front of me. But I want to know where the inseam is measured from and whether the waist is measured in circumference or what. Like I said, I'm pretty sure of all this...but I don't wanna tell this guy complete wack info.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that the waist measurement is taken in circumference correct?
An eBayer wants to know about my Rigid Premium Austins and wants actual measurements...waist and inseam. Would it be best to take a piece of string and measure them that way?
And is the inseam measure from the crotch to the leg opening?
Sorry for all of these newbish questions but the information would help.

^argh...I'm still unbelievable mad that these don't fit. I'd been looking for a pair of low-rise dry denim forever now...
anyways, bump

Bought these and they don't freaking fit. They're bootcut, made awhile back when Levi's Premium was actually premium denim. They're rigid and pretty stiff, denim quality is high. No tags. Was super excited to get them...and SUPER dissapointed when they didn't fit. Be aware the rise is dangerously LOW...haha.
Asking $65 Shipped
PM me if interested Sorry for the shitty picture quality.

What's the story on these...I searched and found that a couple people HAVE them...but no info...they're intriguing.

Cool...thanks for the info...I'm getting antsy for these things.Quote:if those are the levi's i was talking about in the other thread, you'll rethink that when you see the quality of these, save the tricks for your stf's.

wow...and the skinners are 109...I got a fucking deal.
I'd much rather have a pair of raw Edwin ED-47's from grandism for that price.
I'm happy to say the least...now I just need to get them

you've got a really good point...I guess the only way to find out would be to do a bit of experimentation.Quote:http://oneoffclothing.com/ has good prices
but madgrad is at best an AA medium, maybe even a small, and he's 6-3. AA shrinks a lot: the only thing that aint going to be exposing his belly button are the long-cut thermals. but then again, an exposed midriff might work just fine with the look that's being concocted for him here...

Either way...it's worth checking out.

^ And doesn't the "XX" mean that they're STF denim? Anyways, pretty good looking fakes...but I guess I'm not a huge fan of the coin pocket and belt loop selvage...

Ahhh, that's a freaking awesome Idea...I might have to do that with my Premium Levi's when I get them. I really want to try the paint...kind of sloppy Evisu-ish just because it'd be different for a pair of levi's...we'll see what happens.Quote:Get ahold of a sewing machine and re-sew the arcuates in Red or White. I always thought that would look kinda cool.

^ Definitely good to know. They're older Premium denim which is what I like. They aren't Current. Some guy just had em' sitting around for awhile, never worn because they were too small and he didn't know what to do with em'.
I think they're a 28 x 30 which should fit me perfect. I'm excited as HELL to get them.

^ I reallllly like the look of those...how much did they run you?

Probably have to change before Court today @ 1:00...Allowing Minors to Consume Alcohol on our premesis should NOT be worth $350.

Please explain further, I'd love to be able to find the stuff for a better price.Quote:If you want AA clothing, you can find it cheaper online than direct from AA....

I'm also gonna have to plug American Apparel here. It is slim fit, minimalist clothing to a "T". But I too am seeming to have some quality issues with the product. Perhaps it's beacause it's made by lazy Americans wanting to get home. Better than Indonesian 13 year olds I suppose. Anyways hit up:
http://www.americanapparel.net/ For some descent stuff. Polos, T's, Hoodies (One of my favorites), Thermals, Jackets, Vests, and anything else made from cotton or polyester.
A little on the spendy side...but with minimum wage being so high...I guess it's gonna cost a bit more to have Americans make your clothing.

Actually ^ That was Kixslf...I don't think the Austin's are made anymore...but fit similar to offenders.
I picked em' up for 41 shipped on eBay...never worn. No tags though...I'll post pics when I get em' in the next few days.

check in the stores or even on the the levis website, they shouldnt be too difficult to find

meh, I dunno, just wanted to remove the stitching...I'm just bored alright...haha

Just for shits and giggles I've been thinking about pulling the pocket stitching out of my Levi's STF's and doing something similar to Evisu...like a cream or red paint in the typical Levi's fashion.
Kixslf thinks acrylic paint would work fine...but does anybody know what kind of paint would be best for painting on denim?
*I'm just having fun with these jeans so if you're gonna hate on me for pulling the pocket stitching out of Levi's feel free.

Levi's Premium Rigid...
I just picked up a pair of Levi's Premium Austin's on eBay for roughly 40 bucks. I've wanted a pair of offenders for awhile and settled for these because of price.
Anyways, has anybody had any experience with Levi's Premium Rigid?
I wondered if they were anything like STF's or whether or not "Rigid" meant anything like "Dry"
Thanks.

Every pair of Wranglers I've ever seen have utilized a pretty high rise. That's how they're meant to be worn...Cowboy style. I've never seen a very modern cut from Wrangler.
