Geowu I love how wrinkled the jeans are at the bottom. How did you achieve that affect? Are they just very tight and that's why? Whenever I try to do something similar the jeans end up evening out and there arent a bunch of creases on the bottom like yours.

Was just at Blends San Diego and they had them. Didn't check price

girl jeans yes, tight men's jeans no. They have a much deeper crotch and its still easy to wear them without getting uncomfortable.

American Apparel is my favorite. Also Three Dots and Spruce Apparel.

"tight" is closest to a Dior Homme fit. The rise is about the same, the tight are obviously just a bit tighter. They are not selvage however (not sure if that is a deterrent for you). Someone here posted some pictures awhile back and they looked very Dior Homme-ish. Tight and tapered, with lots of bunching at the ankles.

Takashi, very cool. Your lady is good to you if she wears the Iron Heart jeans. I don't think mine would listen if I told her she should wear anything other than GAP jeans (but I'll win eventually).

DenimBar1, is your store in Fred Segal? I can't recall, I thought there was a store called Denim Bar last time I was there.

There's a lot of other things the designers deal with too, such as huge marketing campaigns, funding runways, hiring people to check out other designers' runways... this is aside from the fact that they (should be) designing their patterns from pretty much scratch, and have to keep up with new expensive fabrics (although Jil Sander seems to be the only one who cares about fabrics these days). And of course, by these days, I mean not anymore.

I really like the new Chucks that are white with a black stripe (instead of red). low or hi, they're both good. I personally prefer lows.

Nudie fits are great, and their selvage denim is much better than anything by APC, Rogan or Earnest Sewn, IMO. It's gorgeous, slubby, uneven, and the color that it comes out is true blue with a little bit of a greenish tone due to Ecru warp thread instead of white (as opposed to being a greyish color, a la ES, APC). A.P.C., Evisu, Rogan, Earnest Sewn all ABSOLUTELY market to a certain lifestyle, it's just not as obvious a lifstyle as Nudie. There is a reason for everything they do.

Honestly dude, use the search function. There are like 900 posts about Nudies, both sides of the argument represented.

I dont have a camera and its a bitch to get access to one.. but go to www.bluebloodbrand.com and go through the site, they show some Nikes with blue bleeding onto them. Also, the vans slipons are canvas.

They look really nice. The "deadstock" im sure is to catch people who search for Levis Deadstock or something

white vans slip-ons, black chuck taylors. the classics. I like wearing white vans with raw denims. I like the blue ring around the shoe.
