  1. @beautiful_FrEaK Thank you, I am trying to compare the measurements with originals presented on the site: https://store.acorn-vtg.com/ the measurements of the SC 1966 seem quite close. Do you know where their cotton comes from? USA?
  2. @beautiful_FrEaK Thank you very much, this helps me There are many brands that offer the 66 model, what do you think of the Sugar Cane 1966? Is the fabric from the Cone Mills porch of this era? I'm looking for a "66" model that is as close as possible to the 501 of that era. Do you have one to recommend? I know that there is also the LR01 from Superstitch, the TCB 60 (but the height seems low to me). Thank you in advance for your advice.
  3. Hello, what do you think is the best reproduction of the model 66?
  4. Can anyone tell me about the 1966 Sugar Cane? How is the brand shaped compared to Warehouse or Resolute? I wear W33 pure WH and Resolute. Do you advise me to take the same size? Is the 1966 model a good reproduction? The fabric and the cut are similar to the 501 of this era? Does anyone have measurements for a size W32 or w33?
  5. Hello, if anyone is interested I am selling my Denime (by Warehouse) 221 BigE. W32 L30 Very good condition, worn for a month, machine washed once for sale, washed with care according to the rules of the art. Write me a private message if you are interested. Flat measurements: Size: 41cm Front rise: 29.5 cm Back rise: 39 cm Thigh (top): 31 cm Inseam: 78 cm Leg opening: 20.5 cm
  6. @indigoeagle Thank you for your contribution, it’s very useful! I got a response from Warehouse, the DSB is the same fabric on the 1947, 1953, 1954 models.
  7. Thank you for your message.
  8. @Jared_Lee Thank you so much. Did you put it in the dryer?
  9. Does anyone have the measurements (after several washes) of lot 1001 Dead Stock Blue 1947 for size W33? (Waist flat, front rise, back rise, upper thigh and leg opening). thank you in advance for your help
  10. Hello, I would like an opinion / advice for the Warehouse lot 1001xx deadstock blue 1947. In terms of cut, is this “the real cut” of the 501 from this era? I'm looking for a "perfect" reproduction. Does anyone have the measurements for a size W33? And I was wondering if this is the same fabric that is used for Deadstock Blue 1947, 1953, 1954? Is there a wider model in these 3 models? Is Deadstock Blue the same as Banner denim? Does it fade well? Thank you in advance for your help.
  11. @super-thermite Mine shrank 3 cm on the inseam after washing at 40 degrees. from your photo I think a length 32 or 34 would have been better The cut suits you very well.
  12. And a photo with my 714. Yes, this 714 is really cool. @beautiful_FrEaK For the length fortunately I had seen your post, which showed that it could shrink by about half an inch, I was hesitant with the length 32, that would have been too much short 😅 He still lost 3 cm but it’s okay.
  13. I washed my Resolute 714 for the first time after wearing it for 60 days 😅 Resolute 714 W33 L34: One wash / worn 60 days / 1st wash at 40 degrees Waist: 40.5cm/43cm/40.5cm Front rise: 29 cm / 29.5 cm / 28.75 cm Back rise: 38 cm / 38.5 cm / 37.75 cm Thigh (top): 32 cm / 33 cm / 32 cm Inseam: 81 cm / 81 cm / 78 cm Leg opening: 21.5 cm / 21.5 cm / 21.5 cm It's interesting to see that the measurements haven't changed much except the length, the inseam shrunk by 3 cm between the new jeans (one wash) and the first machine wash. I'm really happy with these jeans, the fit is wonderful, and I think the wash has a lot of potential.
  14. Some photos of my 1970 WH 1101 BigE after a 40 degree wash. W33. The cut is really good, the fabric too, superb texture. I have a question about the fabric, I read that the fabric used for these jeans was newly developed for this model. Does anyone know if the fabric used by Levis for the 501 BigE in the early 70s is very close to that used by WH on this model? I would be curious to get an opinion from someone who has been able to compare the two.
  15. Hello, I noticed one thing on my WH 1101 BigE 1970, on the belt strip the bottom seam is almost invisible. Is this a historical detail about the 501 70s? Has anyone noticed this on theirs? 🤔
  16. @Alec Leamas Hello, I just posted the measurements after washing at 40 degrees. The blue is really beautiful after washing, quite bright.
  17. I washed my 1101 BigE 1970, here are the measurements for a raw W33 / 1 wash at 40 degrees: Warehouse 1101 BigE 1970 Raw / 1 wash Waist: 44cm/40cm Front rise: 31 cm / 28.5 cm Back rise: 42.5 cm / 38 cm Thigh (top): 33 cm / 31 cm Inseam: 90 cm / 81 cm Leg opening: 21.5 cm / 20.5 cm For those who can help, I also have the Denime 221 BigE, it is very close to the 1101 BigE. My 221 is a size W32 and my 1101 a W33, both have almost the same measurements after washing at 40 degrees. The 1101 really shrinks a lot: 8 cm on the waistline and 9 cm in length. I advise you to take your usual size from Warehouse. Denime runs about one size larger than Warehouse in my experience. The fabric of the 1101 is slightly thinner than the 221 (-1oz), the canvas of the 1101 is really beautiful, with beautiful irregularities. The color of 1101 is slightly bluer than 221 which is slightly darker. Some different sewing details also due to the era (V-shaped stitch, different thread colors on the 221, etc.).
  18. Does anyone know how much the 1101 BigE (n° 7 x n° 7) weighs? In oz? Thank you in advance
  19. Hello, the 1101 BigE 1970 is still quite different from the Resolute 710. The 710 is much more fitted, especially in the thighs and leg opening. The 1101 is a good alternative to the 710 if you find the 710 lacking in top block space.
  20. I received my Warehouse 1101 BigE 1970 For those interested, here are the raw measurements for a size W33: Waist: 44cm Front rise: 31 cm Back rise: 42.5 Thigh (top): 33 cm Inseam: 90 cm Leg opening: 21.5 cm I will machine wash them at 40° and I will give the measurements.
  21. There are still sizes 30, 31, 32, 34, 36 of the 1101 BigE 1970 here: https://www.takeoff-clothing.com/item_detail?item_id=7703
  22. I ordered lot 1101 BigE 1970 from Warehouse. It's probably very close to my Denime 221 but I couldn't resist. Looking forward to receiving it and seeing the difference with the Denime 221.
  23. For those interested, Denime is available on Cultizm. And right now -30% on the entire site. https://www.cultizm.com/en/denim/jeans/40015/denime-lot-220a-offset-xx-model-selvedge-indigo-14.5oz
  24. These measurements are interesting (on the Union website): unionatease.official.ec/ Comparing lot 221 and lot 224 for size W32 L32 One Wash: 221/224 : Waist: 39,5 cm / 39 cm Thigh (10 cm from the crotch) : 27,5 cm / 27 cm Inseam : 83 cm / 81 cm Leg opening : 21 cm / 20 cm According to the raw measurements found in the Bears size charts or on the Warehouse website, lot 224 indicates larger measurements than 221. But with washing, 224 seems to shrink much more than lot 221. On arrival when we look at the one wash measurements above, lot 224 seems very close to 221, the cut is almost identical. Does anyone know if the fabric is different between these 2 batches? That would explain the difference in shrinkage.
  25. @jsky808080 Hello, I don't have the 224, I have the 221. The 2 jeans are very similar I think. The 224 seems to have slightly more thigh room. If it helps you here are the measurements of my 221 W33 L30 : Denime 221 raw / 1 hot wash (40 degrees) / worn 10 days : Waist: 43,75 cm / 40,5 cm / 42,25 cm Front rise : 31 cm / 29,5 cm / 29,5 cm Back rise : 40,5 cm / 39 cm / 40 cm Cuisse (haut) : 31 cm / 30 cm / 31 cm Inseam : 84 cm / 78.5 cm / 79 cm Leg opening : 21 cm / 20 cm / 20 cm
