8:54 the guy says he has customers buying 51s a size bigger because they have a lower rise. 1947 are comfortably loose in 36 on me. 601rb are a good fit in 36. I would pick 37 inch if they had it but they don’t. Got my 51s in 38 instead. Definitely too big in the waist but very comfortable. 601rb or 51 will fit you in your usual size but it’s just a tighter cut with a lower rise.

I asked at Desolation Row a few times and they are saying nothing planned but they’ve been wanting to do a rerun in a different color flannel. The factory they order the fabric from apparently shuts those requests down most of the times. The specs they are asking for makes it difficult…

506xx 1946-47 would be the match for s601xx 1947? The 51 and WWII models have matching buttons on pants and jackets. I just noticed that the 47 buttons don't match. does the dye cast match?

I have 601RB in 36 and 51s in 38 and like both.

@shredwin_206wow. My s601 feel lower in rise and measure lower too. Strange. I should try another pair on in the store sometime just to check. Maybe mine were a production mistake.

Never seen anything that high. Look at the button fly. either above belly button or crotch tent for me.

I have 601RB in 36 and they are a good fit. 47 and WWII I also have in 36 and they are looser overall but waist is perfect. I got 51s now in 38 because I wanted a looser fit.

Which brands make jeans with deeper pockets bags? Fullcount and warehouse have nice cuts but the pocket bags are super shallow. Freewheelers pockets are great. Any others with deeper pockets? -
Also went there. Really cool show! I’d say there’s as much denim as there is motorcycles. Went there with my son. He wanted to sit in Yasui-san’s car but then got cold feet and cried when they offered him to go inside.

Thanks. Noticed that, too. They are also looking into changing the overly wide fit of their XXL tees. I think a lot of Koreans have been buying FW and they are buying up the big sizes apparently. Also FW are selling more in germany apparently. -
