  1. Really nice people in there but the sizes stop at US Medium. Couldn’t get anything there and it hurt. Really nice T-Shirts and flannels. Unfortunate
  2. My waist is 91 cm and I wear size 36 comfortably.
  3. 1947. wider than long. 2 months in. These seem to fade a lot faster than the 601RB I had before. At least initially.
  4. That’s one nice jacket!!!
  5. Freewheelers 47 jeans with a type 2 jacket
  6. 507XX 5 months daily wear and barely a scratch.
  7. Stay committed. Lots of fun in the final 100 days.
  8. Competing with jeans that are wider than they’re long 30 days in
  9. Not allowed to use my phone where I work to earn the yen. Wrote it in notes and then copy pasted. Somehow messed up the formatting but at least everyone heard me now
  10. That does look awesome! I actually like it with the hoodie. All these ultra high end goodies must seem massively underpriced to you dollar based earners now. I earn yen and I’m on the opposite end and have to refrain until things get better here. I would do the same while it lasts. You’ll never buy Japanese goods this cheap again. Meanwhile I wear cheap layers to keep warm. Merino base, wool sweater and hat, denim jacket and a cheapo REI shell.
  11. I was interested as well, but had to force myself to do a no buy year. * two pockets Tees pre-ordered in Dec. (they don’t really count) * 36x30 pair of 47s when/if they come again Supply Acquisition Beyond Life Expectancy S.A.B.L.E. to fight the urge and fill the time I used to spend shopping, I’m trying to make things now.
  12. I don’t have that issue on my 601RB. Or at least it isn’t very pronounced yet. Had 4-5 washes. Started a pair of 47s now. Let’s see how that goes. The fly is crazy long. Didn’t jeans become popular when American servicemen on duty in Europe and Japan wore them when off-duty? the gig line being off was probably desirable.
  13. That’s exactly what I like about my FW. That they are not perfectly sewn. But almost! either way, both are valid as you said.
  14. I’m glad I didn’t get a pair. All the waiting until they go live and then buy asap to get ahead of others. Just couldn’t be bothered. I’m so happy with my Freewheelers now and I could try them on in the store before buying. I don’t get the thing about perfectly sewn stitches either on a Repro pair. Isn't that part of the charm that the originals weren’t perfect?
  15. 601RB 9 months in. All the seams are still intact. Crotch is starting to blow out and cuffs are worn thru. I’ll need them repaired before I wear them more. Good first experience with FW.
  16. Not needing to hem is nice. Many options here in Tokyo and they all manage to mess it up one way or another. Including desolation row. they don’t hem in store but outsource to some local place in Tokyo. Was quite surprised. Luckily Hoosier fixed that hem for me. your 30x30 must look really good. Unlike my tree stump 36x30.
  17. Didn’t know that. Good to know they have length 30. I took 5cm off a washed W36 L32. I guess I have really short legs.
  18. I thought the 47s only come factory washed.
  19. Yes, that was 51 and 47 next to each other. Even in different light, they look about the same to me. My 507xx 1951 jacket does look noticeably lighter. Maybe the color varies a little from one production run to another.
