  1. My seiko samurai on a tan suede strap, the strap has now darkened quite a bit and has some indigo stains from denim jackets. Watch is currently just on a black perlon strap because it’s so damn hot.

  2. @mlwdp the sole is the commando mini lug half sole with single midsole, standard heel base and, standard heel lift. The good thing with it being a commando half sole is that it doesn’t run all the way back to the heel so the heel block isn’t broken up by a big ol’ black chunk.

  3. Most recent addition to my boot collection are these Whites Bounty Hunters. Ordered them from Bakers on June 17th during their Father’s Day sale, so the total cost of them was $406, and they arrived yesterday. The make-up I went with was pretty standard-Distressed rough out for everything, no liner, single celastic toe, single midsole, standard heel, and the commando mini lug half sole.

I really love the boots so far, I initially had a bit of an issue trying to get one of my feet in, as the gusseted tongue wouldn’t open up enough to get my foot in, but after stuffing the shoe full of socks and dampening the tongue it stretched out enough for my foot to get in. Definitely going to take a bit of time to break in, especially because the weather is still hitting 100’s most days here in Austin, but I am greatly looking forward to wearing them once it gets cooler. If that ever happens.

Count me in! Standard 5 pocket, I can "settle" with an 01 fit LOL

Honestly I just want to wear Ooe's again; Love my TCB's as well but I've come to terms with being an Ooe for life guy...

Any interesting/rare fabrics they have on hand? Different from standard, but not too eccentric would be perfect in my eyes. Not sure what timeline would look like, but I can potentially double dip as my TCB's are fast faders

I’m in the same boat, I’d prefer an 02 cut but could settle for the 01. And either 5 pocket or something else works for me!

Check out Jack's BBQ in SoDo - probably one of the best value food in Seattle and a top rated Texas-style (no sauce) BBQ. Plenty of good Vietnamese pho places too.

Unfortunately didn't make it down there, spent most of the time in Ballard and Fremont, being from Austin I'm always a little hesitant to try any Texas BBQ when I'm out of state anyway... Managed to eat plenty of good food and drink plenty of beer though and had a pretty great time, and the weather was fantastic!

Reposting from the Stevenson Overall Co. thread, in hopes that this thread has a more avid readership:

I’m also tempted to pick up that Stevenson hoodie, I currently have the sweatshirt and it does run pretty short. I’m 6’1” and 175lbs and have a Medium (fit pic below) and wear medium for most shirts but I probably could have gone with a large for a roomier fit.

There are also 2-piece straps (with no leather behind the watch)

Do you happen to have any pics of the 2 piece straps with a GS/TP watch? I was gifted one of the 2 piece watch straps and unfortunately don't (yet) have a watch that it fits.

  8. Managed to to get some time off work to visit some family in North Wales

  9. Picked up this guy recently and I’ve really been loving it, was initially looking into some other seiko divers then all of a sudden this one just called my name  threw it on an older leather band while I get some links taken out of the bracelet.
