  1. @428CJ I did an intial hot soak and hot machine wash to shrink them, and I did a cold machine wash (with detergent) before Christmas before they were really dirty. I'm not a huge fan of high contrast fades, but rather more "vintage" looking ones. I really like the fit as well, but I haven't managed to take any pictures of me wearing them.

  2. Just a front and back pic of my '66s. It was probably a bit too sunny outside, so they're not really as light in real life. Have been wearing them since mid-October, and they've gone through two washes. They've developed nice roping and seam puckering.

  3. I'm just gonna call it a blessing in disguise that I woke up too late to get them... Looking at it that way makes me feel less shit. I guess I didn't really need them, and I didn't need to spend close to 500 AUD! On a more positive note, good job to all those that could get a pair, and hope it has been a pleasant New Year!

speaking of hems, it looks like the default thread used for the hem is blue or black? If you prefer something like the yellow threads that we are used to you probably have to request it.

Yeah, the hemming page says it's a navy blue, 100% Pima cotton, tex 135 thread.

Looking VERY good! Are you going to go with your regular size or go one size too large as he said he did?

I'm thinking about sizing up... I'm a fan of looser fits these days because I'm turning into a bit of a fatso for my height. I've had size 30 in a couple of Roy's offerings, but I'll have to see what the dimensions are like before choosing a 31.

They do remind me of a '55 cut, which is one of my favourites!

Hey mate, I have these jeans and they are true to size- I'm a 32 (31 in Fullcount) and my DD1003XX and DD1003SXX are a 32 and fit perfectly. The denim is awesome by the way- has such character and it's evolving nicely.

Thanks, man. I'm not sure how experienced you are with Warehouse's 14.5oz denim, but do you know if there is further  shrinkage despite them being one-washed? Would it be possible for you to measure the waist of the DD-1003XX BiG style?

My advice- don't. The arcs start disintegrating with wear so end up looking like vintage Levi's, and they are so similar yet different enough why change them to look even more like Levi's? Embrace the arcs, and the denim, and enjoy!

Well, the thing is that I work at a Levi's store lol These days, I only wear LVC stuff, which is fine, but I want to get back into other brands. Basically, I want to do a sneaky one by wearing "Levi's".

what model and size ill measure  you up a pair in the store

G'day Ed, I'm looking at the DD-1003XX (the 1945 model). I'm trying to decide between size 30 and size 31. Thanks, and Merry Christmas!

  9. Hey guys, I haven't worn Warehouse jeans before, so I was wondering whether it's still worth hot machine washing their one-wash jeans prior to wearing (specifically the DD-1003XX). I ask because I prefer to try and get as much shrinkage out of my jeans before wearing them.

Also, are the measurements on their website relatively accurate? I'm not sure how they measure the waist (e.g. is it like BiG or the 360° method)?

  10. While this is better suited for an existing thread, while we're here, I'd say that the Berkman would be the better choice. If not a fan of elastane, so that's why I'd choose that one. Not entirely sure what other black denim jacket you could get at that price point because I think most are around $150 (even from the "cheaper" brands). If you like the fit/colour and the price is right for you, just get it.

  11. Yeah, I checked out their overseas shipping option, and it seems easy to use. I'll need to have a look at the shipping costs, but customs shouldn't be an issue as long as the total is under 1000 AUD. Thanks for your input!

  12. Is the easiest place to get Warehouse products from their website or is there a specific Rakuten store you guys normally use? Looking to pick up the DD-1004XX and the DD-2001.

I live in Australia, if that makes any difference.

I'm an idiot who posted photos in the non-photo thread.

To be fair, the photos thread also contains posts that don't have photos. Just having one thread would have been easier...

How much did people's 66s shrink?

I got the same size as my 76s however I'm finding the waist feels a little smaller. Worried that I should have sized up one.

Here you go. Waist now measures around 40.5cm after wearing for around 1.5 months, and the seat/thighs/knees have also stretched out a bit although I haven't managed to measure them. Hope it works out for you =)

White's Boots is re-releasing Max Schaaf's 4Q Chukka again on the 3rd.  They've been popping up on a few JP sites like Klamp Kayo.  Whites Japan has a cool little video on their Instagram of Max in action.

Those look nice, but I'm not feeling the "4Q" on the side...
