  1. Have to admit- I still get a little nostalgic when I see a pair of shell toes. And if I could score an early 90's pair of white/black stripe Puma California's I might just start hoarding cardboard again.

  2. All of this has been covered extensively even in the small amount of time I've been a member here. Just start digging about 30-40 pages back. It's worth reading through old pages, not only for the matter at hand, but you'll learn a variety of other interesting tidbits, and maybe chuckle at a couple strings here and there. Long story short- do some work. It's usually worth it.

  3. Agreed. Actually wasn't aware that said feedback was sales listed on-site specific.

    Edit: mistaken omission of words

  4. Familiar with the feedback, but I don't feel it throws the forum on its ear by showing a little open respect to trusted members from time to time. I could be wrong, and I'll be the first to admit it if that's the case.

  5. My P10-S' from the early '15 drop (IIRC), have a similiar loop but it's the same size as it's fellows. I have a pair of P10A-CH's on the way. Is it only the P16's with the smaller loop? Or should I prepare myself for a drastic change in my belt life?!?!?!?

  6. Just to clarify on my end- I'm not saying don't wash your pants in a machine or else you'll see an immediate change in the look and feel of said pants. I just see the long game, and the less wear and tear I can put on my gear that wasn't perpetuated by myself either at work or on drunken jaunts in the urban jungle- well all the better. This is the same philosophy I use in my diet to excuse my excess of alcohol consumption:rolleyes:

How you can say that if you don't wash your treasured pants often? I wash my P10-DS and LA3-DS almost every week now, since it's 25C+ here and -DS is still looking fresh on both items. Not talking about Epic or Stotz, because fabric will fade no matter what. Buying $1000 pants that you can't use (wash, clean etc) same as normal clothing is stupidest thing in the world, especially when techwear should be the opposite of that raw denim thing, no?

Hey do what you want to do. I'm not trying to write any laws cleaning for techwear, just give some potentially helpful advice. And regarding washing machines and wear and tear- well it's just simple physics my friend. I'm also 38 years old and have owned enough clothing at this point in my life to see the wear and tear first hand. Yes I do my own laundry. I don't trust a service/girlfriend to do it for me.

  8. I personally have a hard time finding pants that I like. And the ones that I do like I want to wear as much as possible, and have them last as long as possible. Washing machines, even on the gentle cycle, put a lot of wear and tear on clothing, dryers are even worse. I'd rather soak as stated above. It's a bit more of a pain in the ass, but if it means my $300-800 treasured pair of trousers will be with me an extra year or more, and still feel the same, well that's worth the effort IMO.

  9. Machine washing should be a last resort. If you have a large enough container to soak the pants(such as a tub, or large plastic tote), and the space to let them drip dry, you'll get a lot more mileage out of them and less issues with the fit being adulterated.

  10. I've had my p10-S since 9/16, and I've only soaked mine in the bathtub and hung dry. And the only reason I did that is due to wearing them literally everyday, including in the kitchen at work. Still amazed that they never seem to smell. I'm used to wearing selvedge denim for 6 months at a time and eventually soaking them due to smell/sagging.

Didn't feel like taking my full kit to the site today. Gotta say I felt pretty rad with my gyuto handles/butchers steel hanging outta my 3ts. Ronin shit.

  12. I've experienced the same issue that @akuma no utadescribes in the collectible comic book market years before all the Mavel movies hit. Between undue hype, and inflated 'price guides' based on nothing but word of mouth sales it became untenable to try and compete for key issues in any set run of a series. Grailed is basically acting as a price guide, and Nike the hype. Eventually there will be a crash and we'll all be able to buy our p10's for less than $1200 again, and laugh at all the hype beasts still drooling for $300 supreme t-shirts.
