Is drop crotch controversial here? You don't like the functionality (it's not necessary?) or the aesthetic ― or both?

See any outdoor/military/pure-function brands adopting drop crotch designs?

The downfall started with the advent of the nike collab really didn't it?

Correlation does not equal causation, but i would not be surprised to find that the influx of money from the Nike contract is what allowed a certain freedom to engage in more ‘whimsical’ looks.

  2. The info all along was that S/S18 was going to be exclusive to the website and that F/W would be back in retailers. How that became ‘No S/S’ drop???

But I don’t think anyone anticipated how much stuff there would be forthcoming this season.

  3. Damn, y’all sound bitter like jilted lovers.

Me, I’m willing to give EH the benefit of the doubt concerning his desire to pay the workers, and if I don’t like the prices, I don’t have to buy anything. It’s just a pair of pants/jacket.

Consider yourself lucky if you’ve been around long enough to amass a collection before the pricepocylpse.

  4. Or maybe the twitter message is the truth, and ACRNM is sharing it’s success with valued partners.

Somehow I just don’t see Errolson sitting in his studio, scrolling through Grailed and then basing his companies prices because of some fucboi's trying to do some arbitrage speculation.

  5. Isn’t the opposite true as well? There is no way ACRNM could have afforded the worldwide exposure Nike has provided.

I would bet the Nike$$ is more than mainline income.

  6. I’d argue the shoes are aspirational items, for those that can’t afford the mainline. All of ACG for that matter.

You’re right on customer retention being up to ACRNM. The lack of classic cut pants like P9/P24’s leaves me on the outside. I simply cannot show up in some cosplay harem pants, even if I wanted to.

I couldn't find much info using the search button about this so here it goes. Anyone have experience with dyeing stotz fabric? I'm thinking of dyeing a pair however I'm afraid if it might shrink during the process

Curious to see how this turns out.

I used Rit Dye to make a pair of ACG cargo shorts a fairly close match to RAF.

  8. Cup of water, shake dry. I did not feel a leak on the inside.

The scuff is on the elbow and above, so I can’t imagine being in the rain long enough to impact function. To me J63 is more of a casual leather replacement item than an all day raincoat.

Actually, more durable than I would have expected.

From pavement. I did not stick the landing.

  10. Season 1, F/W 15; Orange Aglets and a secondary inner cell phone pocket as part of the right front pocket.

Season 2, S/S 16; Cargo shorts have the same pocket configuration and Orange Aglets.

Season 3, F/W 16 Cargos have Black Aglets, no phone pocket, and mesh inners on the front pockets.
