  1. Collabs that bring something to it are one thing...wasn't a big fan of the Nemen stuff but at least it was creative with the dyeing techniques. Quite liked all the Nikes and at least they were experimental and Acronym-driven. A collaboration with Supreme or something that would do nothing other than slap on some branding and introduce the brand to a load of spoilt pre-teens as part of the current streetwear explosion would be the beginning of the end. I'd trust that Errolson doesn't feel the need to get involved with that type of thing. His designs speak for themselves.

  2. Those zips seem hit and miss. On my J53 it tracks perfectly whereas it really didn't on the J50 so I think something was flawed in the way they did it on that one. I think the gun metal looks cool too versus it being very shiny. That being said the Vislon or whatever was more no-nonsense in my view.

In case anyone is still pondering about J48–BR like me, its back up on bureau Belfast S/M/L...

I would need to go for medium because small would be to short. Medium on the other side seems to be so damn wide ... is that so? Can anyone confirm?

If you look at the photos on the acrnm site it does look short on them. I got sent a size too big by mistake which still fit but then the zip buckled up badly when zipped up over the neck. I went back down to my usual M and the thing was basically the same without slack there and on the sleeves. Didn't feel a lot of change in the body. Personally I think it's very overpriced for what it is so you may be underwhelmed if you're expecting something very luxurious.

I thought the opposite - hence the 'LOL' at them! Haha.

I dunno I can't see Errolson making the models wear a box tee or something to make people think his jackets look good. I think that dude just chills in Yeezy's a lot and is in a fair amount of Adidas  campaigns etc. Let's face it their shared shoe collection has been kicking around for a few years now so I wouldn't be surprised to see E in them next!

j1ts and p25 back on acrnm, was there a restock on those, or is something gonna happen soon?

Returns. They probably just got round to putting them up whilst they did the update for the new jackets.

First off, how tall are you? Height is a very big deal with these pants since they are extremely baggy. All the retailer pics look terrible because these pants aren't aesthetically pleasing. It's seriously just a standard cut pant and there's zero details that evoke the "oohs and aahs" that other Acronym pants do. Honestly, I feel like the only people who copped this piece are the ones who missed out on the P24A-S from last season. The predecessor just looks so much better with the extra pockets.

I think you're better off saving your money and getting a P10 piece as your first Acronym pant. It's a safe bet and it looks good. The taper allows for a cleaner silhouette and the mobility is second to none with the articulation and gusseted cuffs (i.e. extra details that make the P24-S an even worse buy). For the majority of us who like the baggy look, we already have the P16-S and P20-S to fit that role, which once again, trivializes the P24-S.

But if you're the type of guy to spend $650+ and have pants that look like baggy Dickies, be my guest.

Edit: If you still want to give these a try and you're size S, keep an eye out on Notre. Black sz S will restock by next week at the latest. Other sizes (especially for RAF Green) are just sitting so it shouldn't be hard to find them on the other retailers.

Definitely no wow-factor but theyre solid and I like them. Personally I have two pairs of 24As and am already avoiding them for these - I suspect I'm in the minority there though ;) I got them as a neutral go-to pant which they do well. I sometimes feel a bit like a bin-man/rollerblader with all those 24A pockets but yes, they're more obviously Acronym whereas the 24 could be anything from a distance so you may not think you bought anything very special.

I am more than happy to take this overrated piece from you. :D

Haha...from my perspective I like to keep it for archival purposes (it's quite an oddball) but my opinion is that the construction feels cheap. The thin material curls up annoyingly (at least on mine and I only wore it about once). My hope is that the NG4 they showed in some other photoshoots (if it's not a typo!!) is a revision of this model with better construction. If so I would hold out for that one! ;)

  8. I'm not a fan of the duotone stuff personally but I remember that one sat around on the website longer than the black one. Its following increased over time I think.

Just posted, but I do prefer returning them back now.

It's very rare to get a mail back from them these days but if you send the item back they will process your refund pretty quickly in my experience - you just don't get any interaction.

@Inkinsurgent I remember a while ago when gore softshell was implemented then disappeared, hopefully this tech gets some traction. It seems rather weird to release a high-loft technology during spring/summer though.

Maybe it's a case of prototyping in advance for the colder seasons. They know Acronym buyers will be sweating away in jackets all year round so won't be deterred to purchase regardless of temperature B)

J61 is the jacket of the season IMO. New model. Dope snorkel.

Totally with this. This is the best thing I've bought in ages...even if after unpacking I caught the flap in the zip and almost suffocated to death

Hey folks, longtime lurker, first time poster. I had a couple of questions.

If I need to return something to Acronym purchased directly do I have to get a response from them by email before I ship it back or do I just send it back with the invoice and reason for return?

Also, are there any Acronym retailers in London?

    Thanks!

Just send it and the refund will come in. No retailers in London but someone said 18 Montrose were gonna open up...

This is 100% pure speculation, but I think it may be a possibility that we might see a restock of the J1A-GT soon. They re-posted the J1A-GT Acronymjutsu video a couple days ago.

Not that it can't change but Errolson responded to some dude not that long ago on twitter saying no restock on this for at least a year.

  14. I'd take a lot of the earlier SISP pieces over ACRNM. These days haven't been feeling it on the whole but applaud the experimental designs...just not too keen on those corrosive finishes. I'm optimistic they are going in the right direction again after a somewhat flat period imo though so watching carefully.

  15. Kinda down with the idea of building your own jacket via the modulars but just wish they were Stotz vs foil. Everyone I show this stuff to thinks it looks like bondage gear.
