Can fully see why you'd do that! I'm really kinda turned off by the price hike going forward so will have to see how things pan out in subsequent ranges otherwise trawling the used market for older bits might be the way forward for me next year.

Surely it'll be middle of next week now or something. Similar position this end - everything I wanted is in this batch and I saved up ready for Oct...really just want it all in the bag at this point

I think this is the first year I have been disciplined enough to not make any non-ACR clothing purchases. In all seriousness, nothing else has pushed my buttons anyway so I'm not interested in being a slave to a brand regardless of what they put out but in general I'll end picking up other stuff to kill time that just ends up falling apart or whatever anyway. The only stuff I wear on the daily is Acronym now and so far none of it let me down over the years. Normally I'd be looking at Veilance or whatever in between but those pieces stay firmly on the hangers these days (not that there's anything wrong with Veilance).

talked to lars form firmament yesterday. there might be some delays so it couls be possible that the 2nd drop was moved to next week. but idk

 

did anyone know if the repairs email still work? need a repair for a jacket but couldnt find anything on the new website

I used mine every day this week for the first time in a while with a laptop and some bits. Now I have chronic neck strain...whoops! Definitely ergonomically suboptimal in that configuration at least for my body. I always loved the look though.

Would maybe make sense for the NG4-PS to release now but I guess the stuff with "Coming Soon" status might be the entirety of it for the moment. Quite like the idea of this approach, much as I like surprises, as it gives me an idea what to save my cash for in advance

I like the idea of the J56 a lot but I'm concerned about the price hike on all these shells. I'm assuming this one will fall into the £1200 type bracket whereas it might have been £750ish before.

The only thing you might find at 6'2 is that they ride up your legs a fair bit. They're supposed to be cropped but I'm 5'9 and with the medium I wouldn't want them to crop up too much higher. However, as you note, with that style going up in size isn't likely to fix that as the waist is supposed to be fitted...

I was less than keen on the idea of the zipper too - for what it's worth though it's not mega shiny in real life. It's sort of a matte finish and doesn't stand out too badly to my eye.

I remember using the returns process last year and trying to email them to approve it but absolutely no reply so i just got bored and sent it all back (i think this actually fine according to the terms without prior approval)and they refunded promptly without any communication. The repairs thing is annoying me though as every so often I get hope that it will go ahead via some confirmation then they drop the ball again.

Maybe things are getting a bit big now and they need to expand their internal infrastructure...

Meanwhile,my apm from acrnm was safe and sound and fast.

I only got tracking info last thing on Friday and purchased same time but also same experience with the Prestos so I wouldn't worry - you'll probably hear something soon.

Couldn't see this already having been discussed so do we think the style code or the description is wrong for "J50-S"? Description says it's climashield/WS again but it doesn't look the same as last year's although it looks more insulated than if it were just Stotz...

Just got an acrnm.com shipping notice from drop day so they're obviously working away...

Mine are hopefully on the way at some point soon - I'm not sure I could repair a brand new pair of pants i'd just paid that much for even if i couldn't get an exchange for another pair. Sounds like a production issue with all these identical cases.

It's probably more likely to happen than on the pants etc as the material is reasonably delicate but one NG5-AM and one H4-AK with holes in both had to be exchanged this end.

Give it a while longer - I think most people are in the same boat and it's just the usual backlog with the new season dropping.

I'm a US9.5 and went with S. Found the width perfect but I have an extra inch of toe space(standing).

I know it's all down to preference but I take a US.9.5 and my toes hit the end pretty much in the S. Do you normally have an inch spare in your 9.5s?

So profile-wise in the shoulders it fits true to size i would say but there's definitely some room to layer as I think it says with J50, J51, J58 and so on. Quite good variation with the collar up, down, storm hood etc.

I'm not sure a J51 would look too good under it but I'll give that a go in the interim wait for J58.

Just got J53TS-GT through...psyched! I've never been one for long coats so is a bit of a new thing for me. Just trying to digest all the articulations...

Quick note on the NG5-AM - I'm going to have to send mine back, it's too itchy for me. I'm quite sensitive to wool but wanted to try the cashllama anyway. Real shame because it looks pretty awesome being slightly transparent through the ribbing.

Also check them really carefully - mine had an extra hole in it and was about to start unravelling.

I suspect it's probably one of those things that's down to the specific fit/gait of a person but the zips on my prestos are slipping down after only one trip out. Shame they dont lock in place a bit better.

So I wonder if NG4-PS and 3A-MZ3 will arrive in October too. Also wonder how the former differs from NG3 as looks pretty much identical from what they give away in those shots.
