I have the Black Foil 3TS and it still mentions Bagjack on the interior tag.

Really inspiring work. I always assumed the mesh on the back was just so that it airs a bit when sitting against your body.

Just a quick one but I finally tried on my NG3-PS and when zipped up to the top the material does close behind it so there shouldn't be any issues with zip-on-nose. I'm not too keen on the zip right up the middle myself anyway but will definitely be draping it about my head and neck partially-zipped as it's pretty cosy. Maybe if we get some snow or something and I can play it off against the ACG balaclava.

That's funny because I was going to post a verrry similar thing, I love the look of some beat up old combat trousers, with an acr/tech jacket and beat up backpack, much like a hybrid mish-mash of Mad Max / SWAT !

 

I find the sterile uniform a little too generic,  I guess that is why I love the P23 olive so much as it veers away from the super clean and looks a bit more makeshift.

 

I might get shot down in flames for this but there you go.

The Futura/ACR collab was great because it broke the mold as such, as has the Nemen partnership as per the leaked images (J28)

 

I was thinking how great it would be to see more left field come into play - the asymmetric olive arm thing and all that, how good would it be to see the tigerstripe of SISP employed in such a way, give me some P15 tiger stripe shimmer !

Really like this too. I was thinking how much I like the contrast in the ACRNM shots with the models wearing the new gear with beat up slip-ons and Nikes.

Good to know it's not too gaudy in person - I've got mine waiting for me too then someone started telling me it looked a bit like fetishwear and had me thinking for a minute...

Must admit I love the look of the J54 fit in the shots.

Has anyone had trouble contacting acrnm or errolson? Sent an email to the archive page address, an Instagram DM, and a tweet. Or is my inquiry for a replacement quick release tab for a 3a-3ts not a valid concern that can be fulfilled?

They always got back to me even over the most neurotic questions around jacket functionality in the past so I'm sure they'll come back to you eventually. They do seem a little bit slower of late I've noticed though - I ripped my J47A and sent a repairs enquiry I'm curious on. Errolson etc are so prolific at the moment though that I expect they're snowed under! The service and respect for customers that support them has always been great which is part of the reason I continue to buy.

Not sure if I missed something but I thought more Nemen stuff was on the way as per the photos they leaked and withdrew from their site. Wondering if that's what tomorrow will bring...

as i interpret it, the j47-a is a hardshell and doesn't fit super snug allowing for layering. the idea is to be able to wear it over something like a j50 or a j48 so you're warm and protected from the elements. or i'm probably drinking too much koolaid.

Definitely! Great as a layering piece under the looser hardshells or solo. Gives a few options doesn't it. I'm already wearing way too much of this stuff cause I can't wait...was walking past people in teeshirts and shorts today wearing 2 x ACR but pffffh...

Really pleased with the J48. The closest I had to the sizing recommendations was J25-WS so I went with my regular size versus sizing up. Gives me another nice layering option under the J47A and my other shells. Now I have my armoury for the winter I just need some torrential downpour to put it all to the test! (shouldn't be hard in England)

how do you like the j48-ss? does it fit pretty slim given it's profile cut?

If that one's for me I'm waiting for delivery so will update on Monday. I'm basing my view on the ACRNM model who is wearing both a M in that and the J47-GT which I get a similar fit to him in so hopefully will be good.

Might be worth checking a few websites periodically in case they've had returns. Not sure if this was what happened but I just got my J48-SS in medium from End which I'm sure was sold out before...now to throw the rest of my wardrobe in the dustbin!

I'd agree with this, even the 8s I bought have a lot of room in them.

It also seems like they're going to pad out with wear (not sure if anyone who got them early and has worn them for a while can comment?). I'm stuck in between one size that slips at the back or another i crunch into and hope they stretch a bit.

I'm a bit obsessive with shoe sizing at the best of times but I'm really having a hard time to get on with the Lunar Forces...for me I'm having to go a full size down minimum. It may just be me but they seem gigantic by normal standards. Seem bigger than a regular LF1.

Get the impression they were a bit overwhelmed by orders this time. I've received one pair now but ordered another colour shortly after and no shipping conf on that one. Both ordered a few mins after they went live on the site. My experience with ACRNM direct orders is that they're normally like clockwork so it's probably just congested due to extra demand (the Nikes).

I decided to get my jackets from End this time so as I could have them next day plus their prices didn't seem to be higher than everyone else's unlike I remember in the past.

I think it's cool that a lot of this stuff seems to have sold quickly. I dithered on the J48-SS for less than a day and then totally gone in my size. I'm glad its been a successful season but I do miss the videos!

That's some sick layering buddy and congrats on the first post. I just joined sufu recently and bought my first acronym piece this week.

 

Question: Are the ws-51 and j47a-gt the same size? I am thinking hard of picking up the j57a-gt to layer on top of my J50-WS.

 

As for the lunar AF1s, if you went down .5 size you should be fine.

Thanks! Did you mean are the J50 and J51 the same size? If so it says in the notes the J51 is cut wider so J50 should be fine to layer under J47A based on my experience. Or if you meant the sizes I got - it was a medium in both so yes, the same. The J47 is slightly bigger I guess as it layers on top comfortably.

Been reading this thread for ages so thought I'd finally sign up whilst I have the post-purchase high. Found I'm able to layer the WS-51 on top of something like C1-BR and then the J47A-GT on top of both which should be a decent amount of warmth for the colder months. Bit worried about the sizing of the Lunar AF1s now so I've gone with the smaller end and crossing my fingers they'll work out on arrival. Luckily the EU Nike store seems to still be restocking random sizes every so often.
