  1. I feel like you are describing the fit that TFH excels at. I find TFH shirts to fit slim but favor an athletic build - wide shoulders that taper to a slim waist. Their shirts really are not forgiving if you have a belly or a larger build though.
  2. Feels like that's the best way to get other people to appreciate the hobby. Just feeling the fabric, most people realize these garments are unlike anything they've handled before.
  3. Photo dump of my recent TFH acquisitions from Japan. Gifts for the wife for the holidays. Good thing she isn't a member on here.
  4. I also just got a haul of great TFH items for very cheap off of Japanese auction sites. Grabbed a great souvenir jacket for my wife as a present that I'm very excited about.
  5. Curious why you want to avoid RMC? I just got a RMC thermal and I love it. Perfect fit and very comfortable with no itchiness that I've experienced with some other brands. I personally like to wear thermals on the snug side as a winter base layer, in place of a t shirt.
  6. I went a half size larger in the Lot 444 than I wear Red Wing Iron Rangers.
  7. Did you get any shots of the interior by any chance? Store front makes it look so small! I know space is a hot commodity in Tokyo.
  8. I don't have personal experience with the Lot 269, but Attractions uses a different last that they say has a longer toe than the last used for the Lot 444. It looks like that is what makes it fit bigger. From what I've seen, the finishing on the steerhide used for the Lot 269 results in a glossier finish that stays shiny even with wear. The Lot 444 starts out shiny but loses that glossy finish with wear resulting in a less "dressy" appearance.
  9. Got excited and multi-posted I guess. Might as well add some more info if I'm making numerous posts... The Attractions are very stiff compared to TFH engineers, walked about 10 miles in them over the weekend without any blisters and they are starting to loosen up. The grain and texture on the leather is outstanding. Looking forward to seeing how they patina. The TFH boots have developed much more slowly than I thought they would, I have not been gentle with them at all but they still are mostly black with a few areas of tea core peeking through.
  10. Treated myself to a pair of horsehide Attractions 444s. Tools some pics compared to my The Flathead CXL engineers which have about 4 years of wear on them.
