  1. So sick - I googled around but didn't see these for sale - did you get yours from a sample sale or someone else who did?

these were from the sample sale. i wasn't looking for another pair of vibergs but came across them online and the guy was selling them for a great price and i couldn't say no.

  2. up until now, roy's stuff has never fit me too well but the attention to detail always blows my mind. with the cb-1, the high stitch count, the use of supima cotton thread, placement and construction of the cinch, the raised bump on the edge of the back pockets that will get more wear than the rest of the pocket, and the fact that he chose the denim not because it was going to be a fast fading denim but because it was an interesting denim that isn't commonly seen on the market and had interesting history behind it. it's all pretty nuts on how well done it is. the big bro shirt has that same level of small details that are easy to miss that is super impressive.

in the end, it's all personal preference on whether or not those details and the work that goes into the product matters to you. i don't think people are into roy denim because he uses particularly fast fading denim. there are plenty of jeans on the marketplace that caters to that. The whole one man brand thing is something that gets people talking about him but i don't think that's what is keeping the conversation going.

  3. if you're a true 31, you should be fine with 31. the 1xxx fabric while it does shrink down an inch or so, it also does stretch a fair amount so after the soak and wearing a bit, it should fit just well. but like itsbenhere said, if you're able to try it on, the staff should be able to tell you what will work and won't work.

  4. if the medium measurements look like it'd fit you the best, you should keep in mind that the sweatshirts will shrink about a size down after a wash so you may want to go for a L and then cold water soak or wash before wearing. as for their denim, i think the pictures on here do a good job showing off the character of the denim. the strike gold makes some awesome jeans and use really great fabrics. i'm a big fan of the denim used on the 3109/3105 denim. looks great in pictures and even better in person. that slubby denim used on the 1105/1109 starts to show some really intense fading after a few months of wear.

  5. The inseam stitching (the sergerd one) is wearing off on my SDA. Not sure if I should worry about this fraying or not?

i've had that happen a little on a pair of jeans and never had any issues with it since the other inseam stitch was still fine. it was just a little bit though so if yours are coming off a lot, i'd maybe take it in and get it redone so it doesn't look so messy and frayed.

  6. they do fit a little shorter than most other shirts but for me it's one of the few companies that makes shirts that fits me both in sleeve length and body length. then again i'm also asian with a shorter torso so thats probably why they fit well.
