Hope y'all have been doing well, been a bit busy lately as I was interviewing and landed a new job!
I turned in my notice last week and my boss (of almost 6 years) told me to hit the road so now I've got a bunch of time on my hands until my start date.

Any hobbies I should pick up in the next month? :laugh2:

Congrats on the new gig. Good riddance to the old job.

The inseam length on those Boncoura jeans are too short for most westerners.

They're def on the shorter side of what we are used to carrying but generally inseam length preferences have trended shorter and shorter the last few years especially as looser cuts became more popular so we've done quite well with the jeans. Many people have been able to just buy and walk out the store with them w/o needing a hem. We've actually sold through most of our initial delivery in a few months of carrying it so I think people have really embraced the shorter and looser style.

  3. My kids been wearing these made in USA Levi’s for a bit. They weren’t exactly unworn but they were quite dark when i first got them. These have become more expensive online and at shops but I’ve had some luck with people in the Midwest who don’t seem to care to do much research.

Damn! Thought I’d bought that. ;)

Cone Mill heavy one or the double indigo?

Good job either way. I struggled with checkout being in the UK.

I got the 11oz cone mills one.

I haven’t been expecting to fit into any of them—I’m pretty consistently a 34 these days—just enjoying checking out what’s there. That said, I could be misremembering, but I think Roy’s at least as tall as I am.

I think you two are close in height.

  6. Let's see the fit! EDIT: ah I just saw it in the other thread. looking forward to seeing how this denim looks in a year

  7. Ah yeah, both the v stitch and the triangle stitching would've been absent on the 66. The 66 looked like it fit you decently but it is quite slim. I feel like most people here would prefer the XX over the 66.

As for denim drama....I didnt know there was beef between the two...

  8. I picked up the Boncoura XX jean. Before trying them on I thought they'd be too tapered for my current tastes but after trying it on, I really liked how the cut was done. I ended up sizing up to a 34 to account for more potential shrink of the fabric and expansion of my body. The little details with the buttons all facing the right way, the stitching of the back pockets, the raised belt loops. etc. The fabric felt a little heftier than expected too. I'm excited to see how these turn out. IMG_9025.thumb.jpeg.9d6ccff29268c71658c185e845a30f21.jpegIMG_9026.thumb.jpeg.639092bcd5cba89ce1a6629e358d6cf9.jpegIMG_9028.thumb.jpeg.5e905c89f8760f5255cb4bc46cdfcafb.jpegIMG_9029.thumb.jpeg.95693084f38aece98c55bbd12ab4b405.jpegIMG_9030.thumb.jpeg.ee3f44b3978e8749d17ece9f21599c68.jpegIMG_9031.thumb.jpeg.63c09e9933add5f49f24d03f555b56dc.jpegIMG_9034.thumb.jpeg.94c38b6c2e2beed79c128062a0bb0185.jpegIMG_9032.thumb.jpeg.1664183e3eaf9250f768a6db3f5a75f4.jpegIMG_9036.thumb.jpeg.d7d624983fe212d879a5563dcef47902.jpegIMG_9037.thumb.jpeg.349704a31ef184915795dee96234b280.jpegIMG_9038.thumb.jpeg.8b97694dd96a627615114bb570abe40a.jpeg

  9. I got these mister freedom frontier navy canvas lot 64 a couple months ago and have been wearing them a lot. They’ve probably have had 4-5 washes at this point. It’s showing some subtle white which was unexpected with the navy dye but Im good with it. I tried to capture the color as well as i could but the sun has been intense around here.

Picked up these tees from Signal Garments via a proxy, Full Back is a seemingly very new brand.
Instagram link and Signal Garments link for additional information, seems as if this was a brand that was around in the 1940s although I haven't seen any vintage examples.
I'm really pleased with the fabric on these, it's very fluffy and the fit is really nice. I'll be looking out for more colors and future releases.
I'll get some fit pics soon, still haven't figured out a good place for them in the new place.

    Translated text from Signal Garments:
"FULL BACK", an athletic wear brand that existed in the United States around the 1940s.
Although the original is a minor brand, its construction is similar to the athletic wear that was famous in the United States in the 1940s. I wanted more people to know about the wonderful construction and texture of the fabric, which led to the production. This brand, which was made in the good old days, has been inspected one by one and has become vintage items. It is a product that revives the technology forgotten in the past while imagining the wisdom and production background unique to that time.

these look really nice. how do they fit on you?
