Thanks so much Kyle for the detailed reply, after some consideration I think I'm going to place a phone order to one of the SE shops for the 3009! I was looking into heavier denim for my next purchase but I think the 3009 is what I've been looking for in all likelihood. The 14 oz weight should be a good year round weight for the weather here in Texas.

Thanks for the heads up!
The only thing I'm worried about with the 3009 is that the knee might be too roomy. I'm trying to find something similar in fit to the Rogue Territory Stanton.

That's what I was thinking too, but it looks like SE is sold out in my size.
Or maybe I could wait for that 20 oz Pronto collaboration.

Are there any faded pictures of the SE05BSP anywhere?
I'm really hung up on what pair of Flat Heads I should pick up. I'm looking for a cut that isn't incredibly tight in the top block and tapers from the knee down.
I was thinking of either the 3009 or sizing up on the SE05BSP.
Or maybe even the Ring Ring collab.
I don't really know what route to take.

Where?

Mega hit the nail square on the head.
I feel the same exact way.

Kyle@TFH: I'm really open to almost any kind of cut, just not anything incredibly slim.
I have bigger thighs so I wanted something that's flattering in the top block and tapers down towards the hem.
And really I just want to move up in denim weight and overall quality, so TFH, SG and Roy came to mind right away.
That being said, I'm open to any brand!

Not really shitting on it, it just seems like every single week a new KickStarter denim pops up.
They use the same buzz words, the same Cone denim, the same "attack" on the industry and the way it's set up.
It's just uninspired in my eyes.

Snore.
Yet another uninspired KickStarter denim attempt.
Good luck to them, but no thanks.

Nice, those have a lot of life left in 'em!

Hey guys, I'm looking for a little bit of guidance.
I'm looking into a new pair of jawnz and the three I've got in mind so far are:
SG 2015 or 2019, FH3009, and the Roy Buck-Tite.
Those are the four that appeal to me off the cuff but I'm looking for some more ideas and suggestions.
Sub 400 in price or so but willing to go a bit over that, and something with a little bit of a taper but I'm open to any type of cut honestly.
Just looking for a step up in quality and would love some feedback.
Thanks!

Regardless, it's a top notch garment.
My first, and definitely not my last FH purchase!

Got my grey TFH loopwheeled tee and it fits like a charm.
The neck is pretty tight, but it looks good on.
Quality product!

Awesome, thanks for the help.

So Kiya does that mean the one I got from SE online is actually loopwheeled after all?
I'm sure the language barrier does definitely cause some miscommunication.

Really? Welp, that's a tad disappointing.

Just ordered a loopwheeled grey blank FH tee from SE.
Excited as it's my first FH product and my first loopwheeled garment too.

Wow those look great palm.
I'd love a pair of 20 oz with the normal gold arcs.

I believe some are up on Tate & Yoko. What is this last 20oz collaboration you speak of?

Awesome stuff Kyle, making me consider FH for my next pair!

The dying and texture on that Tezomeya tee looks awesome.
Thinking about picking a couple up if I can figure out my sizing.
Japanese sizing always worries me since I'm not the smallest dude.

Pretty awesome! Can't wait to pick up my own pair of SG in the near future.

And I thought the RRL officer chino twill was soft.
Next level stuff. Good pick up.

Got my Stevenson chinos in the mail.
Man this fabric is great.
Pretty slim, just means I need to start going to the gym again.

Here in Austin it's pretty hot, more of a dry heat. Right now I'm wearing my Momotaro 1705's which are a great summer jean at only 10 oz. I was really looking into some more heavy weight denim mainly because I've never had anything above 15 oz. But from the fading pictures I've seen of the 3009 they look quite nice.
