I think some of it could have to do with the angle of the photo I took.

I was looking at a friend's 405s and noticed some differences as well.

I'm thinking I need to get some Saphir reno on these soon, they've yet to get any kind of treatment besides brushing.

A bit boxy in the arms and shoulders, but I have yet to wash it so that should definitely help.

Not sure if it is truly loopwheeled or not but regardless it's nice a soft.

I think next I'll either get a Real McCoy's sweat for my birthday or Strike Gold whenever SE gets a new shipment.

Well after my 30 minute hot soak on my 991s I have to say these might be my favorite fitting jeans right from the get go.

Enough room to be comfy in the top block, slim enough through the leg and a hem that isn't too big or too small.

My 991s should be here today, pretty pumped!

Got the newsletter this morning, is the ST-44X part of the decade collection?

I'm assuming not, so still on track for a late September/early October release?

I'm interested in the BiG collaborations, might have to be my first pair of Samurai denim. Any word on what the cut will be like?

That Makr backack is so dope

The build quality is great, nice heavy duck canvas and leather of course as expected from Makr.

The zippers are really hefty, kind of difficult to open sometimes but they're loosing up quite a bit.

Not too many inside pockets, but it works well as a basic daypack.

I'm really tempted to order some 991's from Independence, I just have so much denim right now.
Post some pics, I'm interested to see how they look!

I remember back in the day Franklin had hardly any wait, those were the good days.

Black's is pretty good, never been to Kreutz but I've heard good things.

So I've been sticking with my 2111s a lot more consistently the last few weeks.

The cut is probably my favorite as far as my current rotation goes.

They're already developing really well, despite having only had initial hot soak.

Don't worry the grand indigo fabric has some give. It is a looser weave than the vintage fabric and will stretch slightly more with some wear. I went skin tight and after a week of wearing they have stretched almost .5" in the waist and .25 at least in the thigh. They are fantastic jeans

That's good to hear.

I've already noticed that they've loosened up a little after just wearing them around my apartment.

Well I missed out, was looking for the slipon in either tan or black and they were out of both in size 12. Oh well.
