yeah we have two gigs there aug 1st (evening time) and 2nd (afternoon, then we have to rush out to do a second evening gig nearby Nurnberg in Neustadt!), a meetup would be totally great if you're around.

That's the Northern Italian bagpipes, very different from the zampogna (bagpipes from Calabria and other parts of Southern Italy) which you may have heard of.
And those are not selvedge! They are Jacob Cohen's, awful overpriced Italian denim. The outer edges are stitched in a way that sort of looks like selvedge but it's not. Proper Italian wanker's denim!

Volvo, your band have a website? Where can I listen?
we do have a website but it's still all nicely written in Italian only, for your fine understanding, and sucks too.
our recording label recently put up some videos on youtube, here you go
if you look up on spotify our first album is there and you could listen to it in streaming.
we play traditional music from Northern Italy, not your typical ubercoool sufu music. Apologies for those not interested!

Thank you maestro, I hardly doubt it anyway when there's people of the stature and calibre of Paul T and others though!

Howdy!
I spent the last couple days touring in Germany.
Here's a couple pics, just to keep the thread rolling along!
We always stop at the Italian Swiss border for the last decent coffee, and every time we take a chance at scratch cards. It's a tradition of our as the very first time we crossed the border on our way to Deutscheland many years we won 500 euros with one of these cards! This time we won 5 euros which were promptly invested in another scratch card, no win.
Crossing the San Bernardino pass
Random texture pic of TCB jacket and jeans, taken while bored in the car
Rainy day..
Bookish guy in the band reading in the backstage
My mate Filippo checking sound on the organetto (Italian traditional squeezebox)
Fiddle soundcheck
Piva (northern Italian bagpipes)

^^ jmbeane what an amazing pair, craftmanship, design and details are absolutely top notch. Fabric although sanforized has character. I look forward to see how these jeans will evolve over the course of the contest.

bit of vinegar, some coarse salt, EVO oil, garlic, capers, herbs, few tomatoes, in the oven for two hours at 180° C haha!
kidding apart I just turn them inside out and throw in the washing machine on low spin 30°C with a bit of whatever detergent we have in the house at the moment. hang dry as I don't have a dryer, and I'm lucky enough to live in a place where's there is no friggin need for it.
I just felt the need to post here to piss off Maynard!

porky's are on their way to Italia, chainstitched and parceled as sample. final damage 17600 JPY, hell of a deal. eagerly waiting to try them out. if things work out as I expect they'll be my DWC pair. sleeper fades for the first 6 months, crazy bastard wear from the end of TCB contest onwards!

Hey beardy
Here measurements, TCB50's crispy after wash:
Waist (front and rear rise aligned) 17.50 (it will get to 18 with 10 mins wear though)
Front rise 12
Thigh 13.50
You sized it right, bingo!

Good to know Nemo. Inoue San tried to convince me too to get a 40. I will triple check again the measurements!

thanks @goodrain and @bluenemo
looking good Cucco, jeans and jacket fitting great, and that belt is money. You only miss your standard western boots for the full on badass German cowboy vibe :D

dude that's a perfect fit, not too loose at all on you. the design it's not intended to be tight on your body. a size down would be wrong IMO.
at this stage I lost my hope of getting my foreman duck vest made. I think Inoue san is too busy with his backlog of orders to cut and sew my size 42, which is not in stock (he never made a 42 for that design).

oh yes! they make me look ten kilos less than what I am. they're only slighty constricting at the balls area, but it's more me having gigantic attributes rather than a design fault haha!
