here's another serious contender.. now I really want to see an update from Jared Lee (where are you?!?). His pair was just every bit as promising as ah long's and pault's.
despite all the hard wear I can put into my pair I have to face the fact the jeans are so loose fitting on me that I'll never get that kind of defined whiskers. my waist is just too big compared to my thighs.
oh well, fuck it! I'll keep it going and we all see at the end of the journey!

F*****g hell Paolo your pair is already glorious, I'd vote for you if contest would end now. How many washes so far?
I'll get up some pics of my seaside village for a comparo! Not even pics of the local shipyard construction site will approach the remarkable level of bleakness of your seaside uk villages! UK wins this time haha!!!

Sounds like a good idea then! Bear in mind that TCB wil send the parcel as a sample if you ask, so no custom duties!

I have a Sauce Zhan chambray shirt and it's great from every point of view, fabric, cut and workmanship. I'd go with TCB though if you're on the hunt for a type II!

Hi guys, today the TCB's and I were in Verona for work and we were lucky enough to have some time to kill in one of the raddest places in the country!
We started off with a great meal and great wines with some Veronese friends.
Risotto all'Amarone
Great selection of salami and prosciutto
Ripasso and Amarone were great, wines from Valpolicella are up there in my favorites

hi all
here's a couple pics from the last few days, to keep the thread rolling!

two of my new flutes finally arrived after months and months. I am so happy with them, they're much better than the stolen ones. these are made out of cocuswood, the best timber ever for period flutes. Unfortunately the cocuswood is now almost extint. these were made out of a cocus stock that has been seasoning for 120 years at least. the guy who made them inherited the stock from an old flute maker in Paris.

beautiful Eltz castle, which i visited on a morning off
me and one of my mates killing time between 1st and 2nd half. wearing the porky's 66 here. the TCB, at least on a size 36, are way too wide to look good with a pair of brogues.

for anyone on the hunt for a pair of desert boots I whole heartedly reccomend Astorflex.
the quality of leather and crepe sole they use is much better than Clark's originals. and they're also slighty less expensive. made in Italy, italian leathers.
here some infos in English
