Washing inside or not I haven't developed creases, but it's definitely when I put it in the dryer that I get those weird lines down the leg. So my method has usually been throwing it in the washer and then hang dry or using a fan to air dry them quick. No weird creases so far with this method.

sugoi desu, oomslokop.
Very very happy that brands are doing the straight taper fit. Not too loose and not skinny. Perfect for those athletic types and all. I mean loose cuts are fine and all but I see most are rocking cuffs with it and sometimes you (or just me maybe) just want a nice clean break at the end of your jeans. The small-ish leg opening makes for a nice break (ba dum tss) where, imo, derbies and sneakers look better with.
But that's just me where I like to mix styles of workwear and fancy shcmancy from time to time.

This thread is toxic to me. Already looking at some items that I shouldn't be.

Oh, dang. I, too, ordered a ranger shirt. It's on its way and I went with my usual size. Fingers crossed.
What size did you order, Broark?

3 months and 1 day. Nothing too exciting going on and working all summer with the exception of the last week of July. Going out to San Diego and LA. Excited that I'm finally getting to visit SE and Mister Freedom. Not sure what else to see though.
Also washing these somewhat frequently. Think it has maybe 7 washes or so.

Anyone get the lofgren short engineers? Sizing comparable to any other brand?

Ah right, I'm sure the guidi calf (or whatever they're italian calf is from) is great but needing something a bit heftier.

@BrownMetallic
How are those derbies? Leather thick or kinda thin a la a dress shoe? Thinking of getting some Viberg derbies as a go-to casual/shit kicker.

Ah, I gotcha. As someone who used to work in non-profit in an area that also has seen gentrification I can relate. Though from what I've seen it's been mostly good and the negative I've only heard/read.
Anyway, to keep on topic. Here's my collection of boots. Whites were my first ever boots and first ever customs! Even after doing research I'm quite lucky they fit well. Whites had pretty much kept my boot itch in check so haven't really felt a need to expand my little collection. Vibergs are the newest ones.
Left to right: crockett and jones, whites, vibergs, enzo bonafe

Besides, the monster cuffs, is that really an usual or "hipster" outfit? Maybe if they had big rim glasses and handlebar mustaches and immense beards but what makes it any more cringey from what others have posted here on sufu?
Oakstreet ain't my cup of tea and I don't particularly care for their brand, but let their work (or lack of) speak for them.

Gotta agree with Angus. The arcs definitely took some time getting used to but I like the look.
!! also I didn't realize the shovel heads were being offered that's awesome. Definitely a future buy. Also another double dang the SR15 were exactly the kind of black jeans I wanted some months ago. The right amount of black and the thread color I was looking for.

Oh, the temptation...
I'll keep my eye on Roy's site now and see what he has every so often. I didn't realize he had a site.

Dang, don't have nearly as interesting posts as others do. So have a picture of a stray cat that's been at my workplace for some months now. Liking the fit on these a lot, but might hem these one more inch.

3) aldsjflajfdkljsdkljdsf these are pretty damn good. The construction on these live up to the hype. Very clean and well done.

Any derby shoes that can take a beating? Latigo or oil tanned leather perhaps?
Already looking at the northampton companies and viberg but either not my style or I'm not sure if the leather is what I'm looking for.

Yeah, I'm just glad we got this as quick as we did. One month to get all the interest, payment, and jeans made? That's insanely quick. I mean, we're probably getting the jeans next week while my cds I've ordered from russia have yet to arrive 3 weeks later...
Good job, aho and standard and strange.

How are the shoulders on the twin skin? Roomy or high and narrow?
I asked this before in an e-mail but couldn't pull the trigger. Now that's I got a different job and it's raining quite a bit I might go for it.

Public spaces are meant for discussions and opinions. I'm sure Shinki's livelihood is fine especially since it wasn't disparaging at all. I mean it's superfuture. It's not that big of a community, especially for leather, and much meaner comments have been made for various brands. Look at Ed and John Lofgren. The latter is doing fine even when the former is a business man himself.
Also, even if Shinki is trying to be as authentic and old school as possible their leather is still being used on luxury goods as well e.g. wallets and fancy shoes. So if I'm reading it right then cander's comments about discoloration and poor water resistance might have merit if Shinki shell isn't supposed to be as oily as Horweens. Not necessarily as a way to put one above the other but a noted difference nonetheless (of course this very well could be because of meermin).
Anyway, I agree that each company has their own unique spin on shell where it's the (shoe) manufacturer's finishing that plays more of a role as to how a particular shell is perceived. I personally be fine with shell cordovan from any place.
