That jacket....... Would be single if I made a purchase like that, but might be worth it.
Its easier to ask for forgiveness than permission, or some shit like that. Whomever coined that phrase never lived with my wife, but sometimes you just gotta say fuck it and take it/

yup. I went there yesterday. Was hoping for a collaboration but its nice to see them in store nonetheless. Really like Standard and Strange, good guys working there and a decent selection of stuff.

Fre-co, got any pics of the soles that are being resoled for those of us (me) with a worn sole fetish?

But I did see a garage door made entirely of Volvo hatchbacks that Im gonna get a pic of. Might even do one of those gangster crouches in front of it.

guys, i got nothing. we just bought a house and are swamped in all the necessary work that needs to be done that the previous owner spent 60 years neglecting.

i was seriously tempted Maynard but the dimensions are like you said, a bit on the small side ( for me).

@Super Jackiei like that the discussions here seem, a lot of the times, less influenced by biases and prejudices than in other forums. maybe that's a result of the focus on denim and the fortune of having several good-natured posters.three problems that i think this forum has i would describe as (for lack of better terms) occasional displays of: cultural fetishism; dehumanization of people from another race, culture, gender, etc.; and the negative aspects of "bro" culture.in my opinion, Cold Summer's post seemed, in a way, to hit on all three (i assumed good intentions, which is why i said "kind of uncomfortable" and attempted humor with asterisks).Yours and bradl's exchange that followed my post seems to hit all three as well.If you want further explanation, please message me and address me directly this time.
ah, sorry about the neg. actually didnt even mean to + rep. I almost spilled some shit on my laptop and the result of evasive maneuvering was a neg rep.

i think the difference would be hard to notice. The xx is a rougher denim, so I am assuming it has a looser weave. I only had my 13.7 oz FC's for a short time before I sold them and went with the XX denim which I love.

According to BiG, the denim used in the Montgomery Ward jeans with be a LHT version or the 1000XX denim. That sounds interesting, and would love to see that denim used in a cut like the 800 or 1000XX.
The cinch on the MW jeans doesn't look long enough to be of any use.
LOL saw that and thought i was seeing things

I'll measure. Have not gave them a go just yet. I might be able to manage over time but Im honestly not sure I even want to, when I have so many pairs with a comfortable front rise as it is.

might want to look into the vibram 100. its a chunkier version of the middle portion of the 430.
Ill add that I dont think the 430 is intended for heavy duty work. Its more of a light duty, even casual sole. I know guys who have to get their boots resoled every 7-8 months so getting a year out of yours might actually be ok. I know you are hard on your stuff though, haha
