  1. Do we know, when Levi's had used raised belt loops and when not? Was this only in the war models? I had a look at the pics on the TCB website. On the vintage 30s (on the bottom) we can see, what looks like raised belt loops. For the 40s/WWII model I can't really tell. In the first and last picture, they look raised. In the second one they look flat. I think, the text on the left in the second picture says, that they are raised (中高). Not sure, though.
  2. Yuketen Semi Handsewn Maine Guide Ox DB FO Quatro US 10.5 New in box Only tried at home. I wear the main guide boots in 10.5, but these fit a bit differently, a bit bigger for me. EUR 495+ shipping.
  3. Warehouse Lot. S1003XX 1942 DSB W33 L32 These are unfortunately a bit too small for me. Cold washed, so certainly more shrink in them. They are new, only tried on after a cold wash. They have some cool details among others: painted on arcs copper fly buttons denim pocket bags Approx. measurements: Waist- 44,5cm Front Rise- 31,5cm Back Rise- 43,5 cm Thigh (at crotch)- 33cm Hem Width- 22cm Inseam- 85cm EUR 199+ shipping
  4. They look very good. Coin pocket also seems to be placed higher. Probably lots of other characteristic details. How would you compare them to the FW 1937 and the TCB 30s C?
  5. I couldn't find a thread on chinos except for one from 2006 in supershoppers, so started this one. Watched this recently. They introduce interesting differences in chinos of the different times: Side pocket shape Button fly or zipper Button material- metal or urea Width of belt loops Side seams double or not Watch pocket Fabric- Chino cloth (LHT) or weapon (West Point/RHT) Stitching of back pockets (they call it ryotamaguchi or katatamaguchi) Silhouette Details start around 12:30
