  1. been dealing with lawyers and cpa's and whatever for the last couple months dissolving an old corporation I set up for a business and navigating all the red tape and bureaucracy, and after working with these semi-obese fucks in their ill fitting suits and slip on orthopedic "dress shoes" it all just kind of hit home how futile and unimportant this whole side of life is, and how I really want nothing to do with it. Not trying to advocate to be some off the grid idiot or anything, but the idea of the pursuit of a little extra money by navigating all these channels (and paying everyone a little bit along the way) so I can have some title or buy a slightly nicer car that nobody actually gives a shit about or going on some surface level vacation where you just eat the whole time just seems...appalling. Why buy a house if you'll never actually own it, and spend virtually all your time away from it working to pay a payment on something you'll most likely never use. Why take out credit cards to buy a bunch of things you won't remember even buying 6 months later. All the time I spent worrying about licenses and statements and leases was time I really should have spent taking care of the things I already owned instead of replacing them, saving what money I could to actually purchase the bigger things in life I wanted, and going out and doing things that were fun to add depth to my existence. Now to just put all of this actually into practice instead of just talking about it...

  2. open relationship, "polyamorous", whatever you want to call it is just a placeholder for "I haven't met someone I genuinely care about, and I'll use this to avoid any guilt that may arise out of my inability to control myself in the meanwhile". I've known a handful of allegedly polyamorous people or people in open relationships, and almost all of them flipped a 180 when they met someone they actually loved (and usually knew wouldn't have much of an issue leaving them). I think it's best to just tell girls the truth, if you want to be single and bang other women just say that from the start, and be a good guy in the meanwhile. It's really not that hard. If you're respectful and treat women well, and fuck them right, you'll be amazed at what they'll tolerate when it comes to dating. Playing games and cheating and being secretive is base level human behavior.

  3. Curious what people's opinions are on dating multiple people at once (given you're honest and straight up with each of them that you're not exclusive). I'm very much on the side of dating a lot of people at the same time, but always run into people who can't wrap their heads around it.

  4. I think you're over thinking it. I duuno mayne, maybe your expectations are to big or fuck know's what. Maybe loosen up a little and have some fun.

    very cosigned.

Not sure what you're "looking for", but def overthinking things. People put women on a pedestal for some reason and assume they're looking down and selecting from some pool of begging guys, and that we're lucky or something to be chosen. In reality, girls want the exact same things: to meet a decent person, to get casually fucked, to go have fun, to go on dates, to explore if it's more, etc. There's just such a huge population of shitty guys out there being idiots they get jaded pretty quickly. Every single girl I know hates two things: a clingy dude, and the guy who says shit like "how about we fuck" as their opening line. Both are creepy and make girl pass immediately. If you're struggling with talking to girls, use Tinder and seriously like/try to match with everyone and just talk to everyone. Look at it like practice and you'll figure out what works. Don't just like hot girls or whatever, talk to as many as possible, it doesn't mean you have to sleep with them...just put time in chatting and you'll figure it out.

and when it comes to killah fits, women give 0 fucks. Unless you're trying to get with some fashion girl or something (who tend to be the most obnoxious women ever btw). She's not intimidated by your clothes, if anything she probably laughs about it with her girlfriends. Just be a normal, respectful guy and it's easy.

  5. only if u wite

is this pretty universal with girls on Tinder? I asked a couple of my friends and they said the same, they kinda say no en masse to asian and indian dudes. I think if you can manage to get matched, and be a decent person, it's actually really easy to chat girls and go out. From what I've seen most every guy on there is creepy as fuck, so girls swarm toward a hint of normalcy.

  6. had back to back to back sleep paralysis night before last. Had it a few times over the years in single episodes, so knew what it was when it was happening, but other night was the first with multiple. Dreamed / perceived someone was in the house and couldn't move, fell back asleep, happened again. A few times. Fucking creepy.

  7. In the process of driving across the country, probably the best worst thing I've ever done.

I just got back from the same thing. Flew from Ca to Nashville to meet a friend who bought a car out there, and we drove it back to Sacramento. Took the 40 the whole way. TN is cool, West Memphis fucking sucks, as does all of Arkansas, Texas has a 40 story tall cross and then nothing but fast food and sad, fat people, but New Mexico and Arizona are incredible. 4 days straight in a car is too much with anyone tho.

  8. just got shots from our FW14 range. We're developing an anorak, I don't think it's there yet, but something a bit different.

This piece I'm really stoked on. It's a colab with Colin Arlen from Macaframa and Jason Clary from State Bicycles. We've been developing this thing for 2 years now, it's finally there.

  9. just ordered sample yardage, only about 60 yards available total so will be a limited run. Once we sew one up I'll post it, could get these made within a month. Switching the cuff out to an elastic w/ cinch also. Sufu has spoken haha.

  10. we just found some limited yardage of a Schoeller stretch ripstop in this color

What do you guys think? I'm really feeling it, waiting for a fabric sample to arrive but I'm seeing this in that Engage pant and really into it. Was really surprised to see a ripstop with stretch in Schoeller.

  11. yo bud.

Inseam is 32", outseam is 41".

They fit amazing on smaller framed people. We cut the first run with a bit of a lower rise, but has a more tailored leg so it looks on point. I'll take care of you if you need to swap or anything. If you're a 28-30w, get a S.

  12. went on a couple dates with this girl over like 2 weeks. She seemed pretty cool. Told her I was staying in town for NYE instead of going out of town with her to a thing she casually invited me to. She replies "sure, go ahead and act like you're single for a night while I'm out of town. I hope it's fun" and stares at me in a very not joking way.

    wtf man.

  13. that shit is so expensive it's maddening ^

I've been searching for a creative director for so long to build all that collateral for a reasonable price. Still hunting if anyone on here is interested.

  14. Just noticed mods created this here after I was bitching in superofficial about it, much appreciated. I woulda felt weird about posting this stuff in Superdenim.

I'm part of a brand based in San Francisco, I guess sort of a fusion of accessible techwear and light contemporary. Everything is designed and built in SF, using almost entirely US made fabrics and trims. We're a small team, and have a lot to still learn, but I'm pretty proud of the strides we've made organically. Still refining fits and fabrics on certain pieces, but our stockist list is growing, our website is finally functional, and the aesthetic and direction is feeling more accurate to what we've envisioned. Would love feedback, ideas, etc. Lookbook is on the website, but here's a quick look at what we're up to.

We're really focused on domestically building garments which work in a variety of applications, have a clean fit and the right amount of tech, but still with an accessible pricepoint. We've gotten access to some incredible fabrics, but are pretty much self taught, so each season we're building on what we've learned in the past.

  15. Gonna rebuild one with a zipper, will post pics. Might be wonky at first, but I know we can do it. We added zips / gussets into the Recon Nanosphere pant for a homie so he could snowboard in them, just gotta figure out how to bind it to the ripstop so it doesn't wave.

Here's a different angle fit pic of the pants, my production guy and I end up matching way too often in the office.
