Ok, so not this one, but a little older sailing catamaran is way high on the dream / grail list. Saw one completely fitted out north of Puerto Vallarta that looked like it was a prop for Waterworld and it was fucking awesome. Dude that lived on it was surfing next to me inshore from where he was anchored and I'm pretty sure I've never been more jealous of another person in my life. I think he gets by on almost nothing each month, but didn't really seem to need anything else. Just a expat from the states that said fuck it. Epic.

I'm trying to recreate these Relwen pants off an existing and available pant body. I have a friend who can cut and sew them up pretty close to what I have pictured, but I'm having a hard time finding a surplus style pant that isn't a cargo or a pleated officer chino. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough, but I figured most of you guys are probably way more familiar with this stuff than I am...

honestly, I'm not trying to sweat a ton on the way to work. It's a decently hilly ride, so a geared bike is where I'm headed. I had a fixie for a bit, and it was aight, but just doesn't interest me. That, and the geometry of most fixed gear bikes wasn't comfortable for me for longer rides. I'm definitely looking for something I enjoy riding, but something more utilitarian.
