Walpier call it Foresta - I call it chocolate … most browns have strong red undertones, this doesn’t
Seconded. It's a great colour for matching dark brown shoes.

I just ordered a loopwheel t from them just to see how they are. Worth it given the price
Customer service was cool, checking in to check on sizing.

Their standard 15oz denim is my favourite denim. With FC a close second.

At last I can shake off the shame of poorly matching belt and shoes...😉
Thanks @Duke Mantee I appreciate the effort you put in to get to the finished piece, very much looking forward to receiving it.

I'm considering a second pair of 50s slims!

Will be really hot, not the greatest for exploring a city.
I've been late May early June and it was sweaty!

I may have been a snob, but Oni was one of the first raw denim brands I was familiar with, so I was definitely no expert. Doesn’t take any familiarity to see that marketing was just goofy.
It was a light hearted remark.
IIRC didn't N&F really push the secluded denim master story when they bought out an Oni collab? They did something similar with Kamikaze Attack as well

Congratulations @Geeman, is your new job something similar to your old one?
Similar, still with links to information management, secure data etc.

Agreed, the initial marketing put a lot of us denim
snobsexperts off. I've had 2 or 3 pairs in the past, I prefer a slimmer fit but the fabrics were a bit to much for me.. I think the level of slub just made the fades weird. The 14oz fabric was crap, paper thin. 16 oz was better and 20 oz secret is OK... until it fades.
Their over dyed black (Azumi?) was quite nice.
PBJ are well ahead for fabric.

I got made redundant about 6 months ago after 20+ years at the same company (I've got a new job, start next week) and the downtime between roles has been great!
I had to make a rule of no PlayStation till after 2pm though or I'd still be in my dressing gown playing games on the sofa when the wife got in from work!

^ Too close of a belt–shoes match ends up looking contrived fast; you’re better off with just a brown + black, or at most a couple shades of each
Yeah pretty much what I said. I have black and a pale veg tan (now aged but still lighter) so a mid darker shade for when wearing darker brown shoes.

I need a darker belt generally to sit between my black and veg tanned ones so don't need a perfect match just one I can match closer to my roughout, paraboot and sanders.

If you can find the raw measurements they will give you the amount it will stretch back out in the waist.
If the thigh and rise mm's work for you it sounds like you will be OK but I haven't experienced the 25oz denim personally.

I'd cop them instantly if they weren't a 26 inch inseam!
(I've emailed the seller hoping it's a typo!)
