I've been pretty hectic with some real life stresses  of late but do owe the WAYJDT thread an update with some pics I took a couple weeks back.

They are a hard brand to defend /support over the last few years but I still have a spot for them. Never owned a pair of their jeans  but have always considered a pair just to scratch the itch.  Their sweats, ts and jackets are great IMO. 

I'm popping into R&H in a week or so , might close my eyes really tight and ignore the fact everyone has warned against the jeans and try a pair on!🙈

I see Rivet and Hide are to start stocking RMC.

I haven't tried any of the new version cuts, perhaps it's time I did...

The 15oz FC denim is one of my favourite denims I have worn.

So after waiting @ 15 years for Nike to re-release the original Air Max 1 in the original  colourway I instantly copped them on release. (After boring the wife about them for years I had to)

I actually had a pair stashed in a box for a rainy day but took them out around 8 years ago and the suede had literally rotted off....

Anyway , when they arrived  loved them but could have swore they had a red section on the front grip...blamed it on memory fade.

Turns out they did on the pair released a few weeks later!

Cue 2nd pair purchased in a month.

I was thinking more along of how well known they are outside of Japan or by fans of clothing from Japan. WH, Resolute, SDA etc have quite a wide range of stockists whereas FW have fewer therefore may be marketed as more exclusive /premium. 

Perhaps for its perceived exclusivity/rarity?  Retailers selling it on the fact its not as well known as Warehouse etc?

Either that or FW dictating the prices prior to distribution.

Sort of agree with Julian that IH do set themselves up for this kinda comparison. 

I own a couple IH pieces, (bought below UK retail)  happy with them,  but their prices do prevent me even really browsing the site.

I mean how good can 1 flannel shirt get after a certain point?? ( we had a similar discussion on tshirts)

TBF jeans wise the UK pricing isn't to far from other MIJ brands brought here so if the fit worked (and could live with the arcs) they would be an option
