Nearing 11 months and decided to wash them for the 2nd time tonight.

those are awesome. i've seen how they fit in the waywt thread. are those xx-011's? what size/sizedown?
Thanks. They're 13s actually, size 30. When I bought them, my waist measured about 32.5", but I knew I would be losing at least an inch as I got back into shape for running, so I bought raw and just didn't pre-soak them (they came at about 32.5" without a soak). Once I got back in shape (31" waist now), I soaked them and then gave them a wash a couple months later. They never quite got all the way down to 30", so they still fit slightly bigger than a 30 should (about 31.25" after the last wash, and then they stretch a bit with wear). The waist is pretty loose at this point, but I wouldn't really want them to fit any tighter overall or they'd be too tight on my thighs (I run a lot). At least they're comfortable. I don't remember the last time I posted a fit in WAYWT, but I'll get a fit pic and some better pics of the jeans themselves (they're more blue) at some point here.

Wouldn't trust this dude... He's stealing pics and claiming them as his own in other threads. Jeans are probably either nonexistent or stolen.

anyone interested in this exact pair of umii-908s? sz 28, still brand new. it's 800 at retail, but i can cut a 50% off deal, if not more.

They're not really expected to have electric blue fades, are they? I mean, the purple weft pairs don't produce purple fades.

That first jacket is absolutely unreal. I would love to get one of those in a 2.

Price is really not that bad, but there's no way I'm supporting this clown.

I hereby call out the morons that gave this negative rep. If the new SL denim is like Dior denim, the quality will be NOWHERE NEAR something like Oni. I've had 2 pairs of Dior raws. The first pair, two of the belt loops literally just unraveled and came off, and the second pair, I was blowing out a hole in the knee within a couple months in addition to having the outseam (non-selvedge) start to unravel. Paying out the ass for Hedi's raw denim is stupid. If you're into a specific wash, you could have a justification for buying it, because nobody has the exact same washes that he makes, but the raw is unjustifiable. The quality is not very good and sure, the fits are good, but they're not even close to unique anymore. That Oni pair is constructed with far more attention to detail (stuff like copper rivets and thick leather patches actually makes a difference), much higher durability, natural indigo, an extra slubby weave that gives the denim excellent character, etc. The Dior pair is constructed with moderate-at-best quality denim. You're paying for scars when you buy Dior raw. What are you paying for when you buy SL raws? And how about this: instead of, or in addition to neg-repping me, explain your position of negging someone who stated that quality is more important than the brand-name on the tag inside the jeans. Oh, and just FYI, I do wear Dior Homme clothes, just not their raw denim.

Unless you've seen a tag specifically saying 17.5cm, they're probably 19cm. The measurements are just smaller for smaller sizes. The only previous 17.5cm raws were silver selvedge and some weird cuts (ie 'New Baggy', etc).

My newest boots, a Woodsman from Quoddy:
I wanted something different from the navy/brown/black pairs I have, so I went with a dark red Cavalier Chromexcel leather with a couple brown accents (tongue, laces, mudguards). Crappy cell-phone pic doesn't really do them justice.

Yeah the amount of crotch wear is a real pain as I love them and their texture.
I sized down one taking in to the account of shrinkage with their soak and subsequent washes so they've only been sized down once, I think it's more because of the already skinny fit but I think it looks good:
Maybe you're just wearing them high, but they look pretty tight in the upper block. If you wore them one size looser, they probably wouldn't split on you so fast.

that doesn't look like a lot of fading for that level of crotch blow out... are these known for falling apart fast?
He probably just sized down too much I'd think.

Wow, these are outstanding. Congrats on your amazing jeans.

Haha, unlike my jeans, my dog gets regular washings.

My pics are terrible compared to everything else in this thread (taken on my phone), but I got my PBJ 13s and Quoddy Kennebec Chukkas out for a few hours of hiking with the pooch, Holly, yesterday and saw some pretty nice leaves just outside Salt Lake City.
As for the jeans, the crotch was getting pretty thin after 9 months of daily wear, so they're in the repair shop from today until Friday.
Lamb's Canyon Pass with Holly, right up next to the watershed boundary, ie no dogs allowed past that point (too hot to hike in jeans), last week:
Mt Olympus with Holly, at the saddle, after 4000' of climbing (a pretty taxing climb, so no jeans). Also last week. She was off leash most of the way, so with all of her excited back and forth running, she probably did double the distance that I did.
Other cool recent adventures include running King's Peak, Utah's highest mountain, roundtrip, in one day, without the dog, unfortunately. 30 miles, from 9k' to 13528' and back, which is too much for her. No jeans for this one because even running in lightweight running clothes on the uphills above 13000' felt like getting kicked in the chest by a horse with every step. I typically run mountains much more than I hike them, as I did here, but have done more hiking recently to take an off season and let my body recover for the next training cycle. King's is usually a 3 day hike due to the difficulty of the trail, but we left Salt Lake City at 3AM, drove up, started really early, and did the full roundtrip on a Saturday morning. Eating Twix on the peak, because sugar tastes good when running for a long period of time.
If you don't like my 1980s-era short shorts, too bad.

Apparently Dior fakes are REALLY noticeable.
Absolutely not true, there are plenty of very good quality fakes that are not really noticeable. That said, raw is less likely to be faked (Jake, Clawmark, etc would be much more common).

Edit: Bought Quoddy Chukkas in 10.5 mailorder from a retailer that stocked them, they fit well. Was unsure of sizing as I'm normally an 11, but had gone down all the way to 10 in canoe shoes from Quoddy, which seem to run really big. I'm about to commission a pair of the Maine Woodsman, probably in 11. They'll likely run 1/2 size big, but I'll be generally wearing them with significantly thicker socks than normal.

Anyone who's ever in Minnesota should know that a new shop in Minneapolis, Askov Finlayson, is carrying Momotaro (701 and a 2nd pair, which I believe was 201). This place is owned by the Dayton brothers, who apparently have pretty excellent tastes, and it mostly stocks menswear. I'm in town visiting my family right now and we were eating next door at Bachelor Farmer (a ridiculously good restaurant also owned by the Datyons) tonight. My mom was looking at the restaurant before we ate and noticed this shop up front, so she looked around and came back to say "I think you might like these shoes I saw in there". It turns out they were Quoddys, so I ran back to check it out and was shocked to see Momotaro jeans right when I walked through the door. I was already on the market for some new everyday shoes, so I scored some Quoddy Canoe Mocs for a ridiculous $150 (on sale, this is not the normal price) and got to finally try on some Momotaro 701s, which seem like some jeans I'll definitely have to cop in the future when my current PBJs are done. This is a really random tiny shop in Minneapolis that is poorly marked and sort of hard to find, but they have some great stuff in there, including Momo, Quoddy, Fjällräven, Barbour, some cool indigo and chambray shirts, and even some selvedge bags and aprons from Shipley & Sons. If you're in the Twin Cities, definitely check it out.

PBJ XX-013 at almost 8 months. Not color modified, but taken with a flash and umbrella setup.

Just shy of 8 months. One soak, no washes.

Only 2 pairs at the moment:
1. PBJ xx-013, worn daily for 8 months now.
2. Dior black slenders
Was no longer interested in washed denim and sold all of it off. I also had to sell older raws when I got back into shape and they got too big. About to pick up a pair of Samurai 710s to start rotating in.

Is there a good place to get 710s with arcs in indigo, in 17, 19, or 21 oz that will ship to the US? I could always get the plain pocket pair from BiG, but I really like the look of Samurai's arcs, so I'd pay a little more to get a pair with them. If it matters, I'd be looking at either a 30 or 31 for size (my current pair of PBJ 013s is a 30 and they fit slightly big, but they never shrunk down as much as I expected).
