  1. Given my jeans their first was and dry following the instructions on the previous page. Lost a little in the leg length but still a bit too long for me. Sorry to ask but should I expect any more shrinking if I repeat the process or is it a trip to Son of Stag for a bit of tailoring needed?

  3. Have started seeing these again at Uniqlo. In the UK, anyway. £35.

Got my eye on a pair of these, anyone know how much they shrink as the site says they are unsanforized and they only have a 34" leg? I normally get a 36" minimum in LVC

  4. How's the fit 501xx4ever? Enough rise? Had mine on last week and really like 'em. When fall hits they're going to be my daily wearers. Too hot to wear now though ('33s for summer).

Setterman - how have you found the leg shrinkage on your '33? You have some from current season from memory, my 06 dated ones lost loads of length in the leg.

  5. My 1915s with about 8-9 months wear on them. Another pair for the summer rotation.

These are lighter in real life, I think they've faded quickly.

Nice - have my 1915 on today but a long way to look as good as them.
  6. Forget about the colour remover, My advice would be... wait until your mother goes out to the bingo, chuck a spade full of stones in her washing machine chuck your jeans in, 60C spin wash and as if like magic 80,s denim.

Then simply claim on the household insurance for the flooding and washing machine damage, If its a BEKO they will have had the same claim many times in the past.

That made me chuckle - sky trip to the launderette with some rocks in my pocket could be on the cards
  7. My 4170 button code 55s I wore in the cultizm contest were 3" over. They would have been made in late '09. AFAIK, the '55s still run big. Not seeing any measurements online though, and actually it seems like there's fewer stores stocking that model nowadays. Surprising, because to my mind the '55 and '44 are two of LVC's best models.

My 2011 1955 measured as Raw:

    Tagged 34*36

    Actual

    Waist – 17â€

    Front Rise – 12.75â€

    Back Rise – 16â€

    Thigh – 13â€

    Knee – 10.5â€

    Hem – 8.75â€

    Inseam – 35.37â€
