how long do IH jeans take to start getting...... how do i say..... soft?

well if you're looking at anything made with the signature 21 oz denim it's already pretty soft when it arrives, it's sanforized.

not sure..don't have any experience with sammies, but i THINK they are warmer.

and fobe46, both are great jeans, depends the fit you want. 301's are a looser top block with taper, the 310's are a slim-straight fit with less taper.

looking to get either IH 301s or FH F310. Opinions? Will 301s be too hot for socal?

no they wont, ironheart's signature 21 oz is a loose weave, therefore it's breathable and not too warm, i have a pair of 21oz and i'm in socal. it's been discussed.
