I won't be joining the competition but at some stage, a pair of Ande's in the Buffalo cut will be mine. Mwahaha....

^awesome. The onlooker would get a rep from me, if he posted in WAYWT. I don't understand exactly, what you were doing there, but hopefully you weren't mistaken for the KKK.
I very much doubt that, 50 years ago perhaps.

Those are Espadrills. Very slipper like, they are like a French Slipper that you wear in public. Think of them as the predecessor to slip on Vans.
Edit: Yes, they are made out of houses and sometimes house boats.
I thought they were the physical realisation of House music.
1000 club membership for me - whoopee!

Uh, and the $295 price tag just makes it better.
They are the finest sky camouflage trousers I've ever seen!

So that explains your attitude towards homosexuals then Alex!

thanks for the info guys! sounds like they shouldn't shrink to less than 37" at the waist. I'm planning on keeping these out of the washing machine and just hand soaking and washing, like would have been done in the 20s. Looking forward to getting them in a couple days.
Finally taking airfrog's advice, eh?

Alex, are you a chidren's TV presenter?
Or are you Arnold Schwarzenegger..."I smash your bones"!

thanks for the infos devilish
Setterman,
I have the 1915s and wore them on/off for 8 months. They started out at 34" raw and I hot machine washed them at 60C. They shrank to a 32" but stretched back to 34" within a few days. This is exactly the same whenever I've subsequently machine washed them (about 3-4 times at 40C).
When I went into Cinch/LVC recently they told me the denim on the 1915s and 1922s was the same.

almostnice, how do I get my rider's to look like that? Outside of taking up welding... What kind of wear/(non-river) wash?
Just buy a second-hand pair like almostnice. That way all the hard work's done for you but you can still lap up all the credit!

Shirt: Woolrich Woolen Mills Knockabout
Pants: Engineered Garments Fatigues
Shoes: Redwing Work Oxfords
Pup: Australian Cattle-dog/Dachshund
I know these aren't jeans - should I use a diff WAYWT thread?
No, that's fine.
WAYWT also means What Are You Walking Today and I think you've covered that!

Hey, what about my little artwork?!
It definitely has fascist undertones to it...

Just pull the legs after each wash and you'll keep the shrinkage down to 2", no problem.

I can't see the discount anymore - even if I use the link from the email?!?
Help I need a fix:D
Ben, it was there yesterday morning (15% off all jeans brands) and then strangely absent by the evening. Did you get the 1955s from Hideout?

Send a cut of any profits to Ande Whall to help get him up to speed again.

If you've got a missus, I hope this "accident" goes over better than the excuse where an unmentionable falls into another unmentionable resulting in brief joy. Are boots better than sex?
That's probably the only way he'll slip a 'foot' into something by accident!
EDIT: well I think that's probably the case for most of us...

I think it's the same 14 oz sanforized "sushi ear" denim. 31 would be my size in those too - nice one!

No love for Guitar Wolf? No excuse not to get a pair if you got some funding with the SE sale going on...Guess ya'llz is still not fans of looser cuts?
I have far too many jeans, otherwise I'd have snapped those up at $140. they look great.
EDIT: $135 now!

fuck the jeans, but Ruedi rocks! wait till i get them, they will go through a month of hard labour.
Of course. Drinking single malt scotch whilst lounging around in an expensive shoe-shop is absolutely gruelling work!

buzzricksons.com ship internationally and may have the old line. Ive emailed them to check.
Their prices have just gone up by £20 (£95 to £115) so I suspect they are the new model.

Anyone have a black Buzz Rickson sweatshirt in a medium they don't want?
This is probably the cheapest you'll find these now as prices have gone up to £115 plus, so this will be old stock, they ship internationally:

Good luck!

Anyone interested in a Nom de Guerre charcoal stripe utility shirt in a size M? It was a tad too small so I bought another in L.
- Linen/cotton mix
- Made in Japan

Like the one shown here:
