Setterman,
SDA 101 has a 12.25" front rise raw (according to BiG) in a 38" waste and 11.5" in one-wash. I'm not sure that's correct as my size 32 pair has been hot washed and measures 11.25" in the front rise, so I think you'd be looking at around 11.75" for a 38.
They are great jeans with a loose cut and don't cost silly money - well worth looking into imho.

Anyone have any insight into how badly I will get violated at the border?
I think that depends on how provocatively you're dressed!
Alternatively, you can contact the vendor for advice.

Do your zipper up!

1937s are actually 10oz raw and not 9oz, whilst pre-1927 501s are 9oz, although both weights (according to Levi's) increase to 12oz post-wash!

I'm tempted by those AS Dallas in marronite for work. How do you think they'd come up polished over with black?

almostnice, I hope your neighbours didn't mind the noise too much and didn't have to shout themselves hoarse to be heard.

Nice update Paul, it's just as well you didn't get your 'blues' mixed up and extol the virtues of Cone's Black Seed Pima cotton, etc....

You could simply have ignored him mega and left things as they were.
Don't be scared to upset him!

My eyes!
phew...
Amazing shine!
.Just cleaned & shined my chestnut RMW Craftsman in yearling. I don't wear them much during the heat of summer but they are now ready for the cooler months. They came out looking pretty well, IMO.
I purchased these (and a black pair) ~2.5 yrs ago from Barry at bootsonline.com. Great service from Barry and RMW offers a great value in a whole cut, handcrafted dress boot.

After reading all the good reports on Crockett & Tubbs, I thought I'd bite the bullet and bought myself a nice pair of their signature white espadrilles. Although cheaper than some of the prices bandied around on here, I really can't see what all the fuss is about...

@ borkborkbork...I e-mailed those guys to ask about shipping (to the UK) and they replied almost immediately and were really helpful.
Shoot them an email: [email protected] or, Today i spoke with Miarinda - maybe give her a shout: [email protected]
Im after the Duck in a medium too - but will have to wait for the long shipping time - will measure it when it arrives if you like?
Thanks
You could've ordered one from here:

swiss dig deeper.. I know the real answer but I'm not at liberty to say it.
Anyways the Edwin's are too large for me.. So I'll have to give that a pass..
Yeah, do spill the beans. I'm sure my ED69s are nothing like a cut from 1969. Does the clue lie in the Kama Sutra?
