  1. I agree. I was under the impression this was a "pure" indigo as well. You'd think there'd be a lot more buzz and use of this aspect in the write-ups if it were truly "non-synthetic". Either way, I love the color on these.

  2. Great fit aho. Mine fit a bit looser, I think, but they've only been through a hot soak. Thanks for the tip about the wash results-- I was looking forward to getting more shrink out of mine, but your tip gives me something to consider when the time comes. (I'll probably wash them anyway). I sized up 1 on mine. You?

  3. I think this thread should mainly be about what you're wearing and less about what you're doing or where you are.

He's still wearing denim. And he's been on sufu a bit longer than you (no disrespect). Nothing wrong with mixing it up. Plus, he's a new dad, so who has time to post in multiple threads? You also could've PM'ed that.

  4. I don't plan to fix anything; I'm quite happy with it-- any smaller and i would have trouble in the chest area. I have plenty of options in the closet for trim fits, but like jeans, I like to mix things up. Plus, I like the way Kapital tends to keep things a bit loose and laid back. Thanks for the comments.

Kapital indigo M-65 jacket. The close ups are from the Kapital website (much better than I can do on my camera). I really love the indigo. The stashable hood is probably my favorite detail because it has a crinkled/uneven/marbled appearance from the dyeing process.

  6. I've only had helpful and positive interactions with Jonathan, and he has been a great proxy for items I couldn't acquire through regular means. I really don't understand the way people (and I truly do respect everyone who as posted) are responding. The only impression I've got from him is that he is a huge admirer and friend of the brand, in the same way a guy like e. kvatek (who does photography for kapital among other brands) has a close relationship through regular interaction/communication. Anyway, I'll be posting some pics of some non-denim Kapital items I've acquired in the last few months-- I really dig some of the stuff they put out there.

  7. May I request less sizing questions and hurt feelings about jeans you don't need and more speculation about the mystery jacket and when the flannel will appear?

... Says the guy asking about the jacket and flannel he doesn't need.

  8. I am someone who got burnt buying Tender whilst wearing a "ruffled your feathers" poncho.

What season was that from? You probably paid too much for it, too. I think there's a thread for ponchos on here for you to complain on as well.

  9. I dunno if I'd call William a champion against "the classic 5-pocket standard", but certainly I appreciate his aesthetic. Personally, I don't like every design of every piece he puts out there-- not all of it "works" for me. But the stuff that does resonate with me, I acquire without reservation. I own three of the belts and think they're absolute tits.

Thor isn't new to Tender, and actually his activity in this thread precedes many sufu members who have shown recent interest in the brand. I very much respect his opinion based on his previous interest in Tender and many of the same brands we follow. IIRC he's actually owned one or more pieces from the earliest collections. The guy knows the shit he likes and for awhile seemed to be selling a lot of it too heh. Anyways, what do you expect from someone whose attitude is described as "cantankerous"?

  10. Good question, and good one for the retailers, too. It'll be interesting to see how other shops price the new items.

I guess you are referring to the blue 129's on super denim? £330!! – I find that pretty ridiculous.

Tender's sizing: it's a mess, all over the place – even sometimes with-in the same garment.

And who are you? You're entitled to your opinion, but it would be nice if you had contributed a little more than a shitty little gripe of a first-post. I've never had issues with sizing the shirts, but I haven't tried every single garment. Maybe you have? I am consistent (4) with all the sweaters, henleys, and tees. Waist size, same deal-- I've got two different cuts from two different seasons. But not all bodies are built the same. Sizing can be a pain with any brand (some of my favorites are EG and Geller), and I wouldn't go so far as to call it a "mess".
