Muji is my favorite store to find simple and clean EDC stuff. Their pouches are especially useful for protecting small stuff like cell phones and cameras. Their handkerchiefs are pretty cheap as well.

I've fallen a total of 5 times. Twice on a track with a leather 1-piece suit that were not a big deal at all except a bruised shoulder. Another two times on a scooter during a storm and over gravel(separate occasions). I was fine both times and got up right away to my ride still idling on the side of the road. My shoe came off on the second accident and I spent a good 5 minutes finding it.

Another time was when I was learning how to drift on supermotards and at the exit of the turn, I gave it a lot of throttle to try and wheelie out but my front tire came down at a different steering angle and crazy tank slap ensued. No steering damper to compensate and I just tried bailing off to the side before I flew into a hard object. The bike sideswiped a brick wall and I slid across asphalt until I stopped just a couple feet away from the curb.

I haven't had a serious injury yet and I've actually never broken a bone. The worse injury was when my shoe came off and my right ankle had disgusting road rash that has left a clear quarter-sized patch of skin on my ankle. The result of quickly spraying super glue all over it and having no scab.

So always wear gloves, a heavy jacket, if not a leather one, boots that cover the ankle, and a helmet.

1978 honda XL350. in pretty mint condition with only 7293 miles.

Less than 200 miles on a rebuilt engine with new gaskets and seals. new tires, brakes were gone through, seat is NOS. Mostly rust-free, only a little bit of pitting on some random parts and the exhaust tip.

hey, i've got a question about APC's: i bought the petite standards in 26, but i've read a lot about them stretching like mad. they fit me perfectly as is, so i'm wondering if i should return them and size down to 25s? or if i should keep em and do a soak to shrink em as much as possible? i'm trying to avoid the baggy action, and as these are my first pair, i'm kinda nervous!

size down one and hem them! I think the old rule used to be size down 3 on new standards but I don't know how that works with the petit standards.

I haven't used anything else to sharpen my knives and it works just fine. I use it to sharpen the kitchen knives too. I was afraid it would only dull the M4 steel on my knife but it brings it to a razor sharp edge.

I used to use my belt as a leather strop but never really knew if it got sharper or not.

im gaining a little weight and now my 301s are killing me. does someone know how to stretch out the waist more than what it stretches into after a month of wear? would it help if i'd wash them and worn damp?

They'll only get tighter before they get looser if you wash them. I would just keep wearing them.

Have you thought about just hitting the gym or doing calisthenics? It's always amusing how often people will want to alter their $300+ jeans instead of just exercising a little bit each day.

and I really don't want to hear about how hot it is and how 21oz is unbearable either. I'm in Hong Kong right now where it's 91F and 80-85% humidity and I'm doing just fine.

Contemplating a pair of momotaros. I have been wearing slim cut jeans and would normally go for the 0701s but I'm looking for a slightly looser cut than my 301s.

I know at least one person here has had the 0201s but they look almost like a straight fit. Anybody else have any suggestions?
