@youngofthesoonestHow are the armpits?  Are they higher placed in the opening, pinching the armpits like most of Toyo’s offerings (Buzz, Sugar Cane, etc)?  I’ve been hesitant of buying any other Toyo jackets because of my experience with Buzz jackets.

Just bought the 302 model from Phigvel.  Denim seems wider IMO than the last model and the selvedge is white.  It’s on the right.  I will be selling the one on the left, last years model which had red selvedge(bought from Coverchord).  Also not as hairy as last years model as well.  

Is it me or not all deerskin patches the same quality when it comes to denim?  My Deerskin patch on my Phigvel denim is literally falling apart and crumbling yet my Trophy denim deerskin patch is still going strong.  Even my Sugar Canes are holding up.
 

Is it better to let it be and let nature take its course or try to preserve the patches?  Both have been machine washed and dryer dried.  
 

Also, didn’t the Real McCoys make a pair of black denim as well?

Which one?  I have a black trophy one that they discontinued that turns grey.  The other model they other turns brown.

Phigvel makes a regular model and wide model black denim, including a black denim jean jacket.  I have the wide model and they work great.  I should post a fit pic sometime .  It’s in the Unknown Japanese brands thread.

They look like those boots offered by White’s boots Japan.

They look like Phigvel’s version except they don’t have a smooth bottom.

I personally think I baby mine by using Saphir just once on them.  Got rid of the scrapes etc on them by using it.

Speaking of resole.  Wesco did a phenomenal job on a Dr Sole resole for my Boss.  They even fixed the right heel.

Instagram has gone down the toilet with their suggested posts and ads.  Very annoying.
